Wonderful Little Square
It's the perfect alternative if you're not looking to drop the coin on a woodpeckers square or something more expensive. I reach for this little guy all the time and don't know why I didn't buy it sooner. It's an absolutely invaluable layout tool in my tiny shop.

Cheap markings, not square, and the lock is uneven
The media could not be loaded. Not square - for reference the machinist square is by Moore and Wright.Markings aren't etched, but I could deal with that.Dealbreaker really is that the twist bearing doesn't lock the tool. Thought benchmark might be as good as my PEC combo square but wasn't so is going back.
