Broken on arrival
This product is a total waste of money. The platform used to hold the samples was broken on arrival. The ratchet mechanism to raise and lower the platform did not work rendering the product useless. It was a Christmas gift for my son and very disappointing when it came out of the box. There is no option given to return the item. I expect better from Amazon quite frankly.

I guess some dont work.
Ours doesn't work but there seems to be no obvious reason why..can't see anything but light through it no matter what we try and there's no advice, support or trouble shooting with this product. Pay more and get what you want. There's a good chance this will be a waste of money depending on weather you get a good one or a bad one.

Lovely birthday present
Our granddaughter was really excited with her microscope. Hours of fun

Easy to use
My 6 year old grandson was amazed by what he saw. Was easy enough for him to adjust. Inbuilt light means no fiddling about trying to adjust a mirror to reflect the light up into it which means it can be used anywhere.
