Justice League Action: SuperPowers Unite Season 1 Part 1 (DVD)

I like the Justice League; however, this series was too childish for my liking. I purchased it to add to my collection. Justice League Unlimited and the Justice League, with the original seven characters from the late 90s and early 2000s, are the best Justice League animated series as far as the plots and character relationships are concerned. The animation in this new series is good.

Now Here Is An Animated Series That You Can Watch Over Again And Again Its Justice League Action The Series Is From Alan Burnet, Butch Lukic And Jim Krieg These Guys Worked On Justice League (2001) Series With Bruce Timm Now These Guys Are Back But No Bruce Timm But That's Okay Because This Justice League Action Series Is Good Very Good For 6 Reasons 1. The Acton Is Fast Paced 2. This Series Is Nothing Like That God Awful Teen Titans Go Series 3. We Have Keven Conroy Doing The Voice Of Batman And Mark Hamill Doing The Voice Of The Joker And James Woods Doing The Voice Of Lex Luthor 4.This Dvd Has 26 Episodes On 2 Discs 5.The Theme Is Also Amazing To Listen And 6. Just Because Its 15 Minutes Doesn't Mean That's Bad That's How Cartoons Are Being Made Like Adventure Time & Regular Show Animated Series Now I Know What Some People Might Be Saying Oh Releasing Half Of The Season Is Bad Or This Series Is Awful Well Let Me Point Out Something That's How Warner Home Video Does Their Dvd Releases Since Batman The Brave And The Bold Don't We All Remember Batman The Brave And The Bold Series ? That Was An Amazing Series Well Guess What So Is Justice League Action Animated Series The Only Problem Is The Time That This Series Is Broadcasts On Cartoon Network And That At Saturday 7:00 AM In The Morning ? What The Heck ? Who Is Going To Get Up That Early In The Morning From What I Can Tell About That Time Slot Its Just Like Young Justice & Green Lantern The Animated Series & Beware The Batman Animated Series No Comic Book Animated Series Should Be On The Mornings At All They Should Be Broadcast At Night Like Say Fridays At 8:30 PM At Nighttime And Not In The Mornings I Should Point Out That This Dvd Is Available At Walmart I've All Ready Picked Up Two Copy's One Reason Is Because I'm A Collector And A Huge Dc Comics Fan And This Series Does Not Disappoint At All Is This Dvd Worth Picking Up ? Other JLA was better

I should say albeit a fun show to watch/follow, it does make you wish it was more like JL/JL Unlimited at times vs. being its own thing, however it also makes you applaud it for daring to be its own thing rather than digging up ghosts of past successes in fandom. For me the missing characters were namely GL John Stewart and Hawkgirl, but again I decree, it's a fun show!!

Popcorn pastime

Every episode is pretty quick, and it's clearly a kids / young teen show. Also, Booster Gold and Firestorm are a bit more common (it feels like) than most of the Justice League. That being said, it's nice to see them develop as characters. My personal favorite was how BG got personal details revealed and F got a two episodes for different focuses (one on powers and one on lore).Overall, good show. Kid-Friendly, has its own hiccups like most stuff, but good.

Lots of people have complained about the price of this season -- this is 36 separate 11-minute stories... effectively 18 typical (22-minute) U.S. television episodes. Pretty affordable compared to some other shows. Personally, I really like the half-episode format. These are short and sweet, well animated, pleasant little nibbles for young viewers.That said, the elephant in the room has nothing to do with Amazon or the show itself -- but that the release schedule is just baffling. You can check the episode list on Wikipedia; while many of these episodes have already been been released -- and together even; in the U.S., these are being released one segment at a time at seemingly random intervals... sometimes one a week... sometimes taking a two to three week hiatus...If all episodes were released and I was just recommending the series as a whole, it would be no question -- well worth it and satisfying to binge. There is some cartoon violence, but underplayed. The banter is fun. The style is colorful. The stories are short (which makes this a fantastic carrot for the "One episode before X" negotiation with smaller viewers).It looks like when the whole run is complete, this series will have explored a broad set of different DC universe characters -- the current saturation of stories with Batman and JLDark are probably just a side-effect of our current position in the series' staccato release schedule.
