So happy with this purchase! The clock looks great on the wall, is silent as the pendulum swings back and forth, and it keeps perfect time. Must say that this is a replacement clock. The first clock we got like this came with the glass broken but it was easily and quickly replaced by Amazon. So glad I requested a replacement rather than canceling the order.

This BEAUTIFUL Verona Clocks Best Silent Pendulum, Battery-Operated, Wall Clock, measuring 26 inch H x 12x4.7 inches D, that I recently purchased on Amazon.com from family-owned 'lovelyhomeessentials', looks like it's been living on our brand new Dining Room wall forever... I am still working on the room's configuration, and spent many hours searching online for the PERFECT 'grandfather' clock, and I truly believe I FOUND what I was looking for!! The only thing for me to do when it arrived perfectly packaged(!!) was to install the pendulum and 2 'AA' Batteries, and then hang it on our wall to live happily for years to come. The lovely medium tone of the wood grain blends 'perfectly' with our Dining Room furnishings. I carefully and thoughtfully placed it on the front wall so it could easily be seen all the way through to our new Family Room (which is greater than a 50 foot span)!! Thank You for this AMAZING clock, and for the workmanship involved!! This will become a cherished heirloom to be handed down through our family for generations to come!! Thank You SO MUCH!!

This clock has an extremely classy look. I'm not sure why the negative reviews. It doesn't look "cheap" and it is made out of wood. I am so happy I didn't listen to the negative reviews. It is worth every penny. Love it.

First clock came and the pendulum did not swing. I tried every trick in the book and connected with the company. They thought maybe it was something that happened in shipping. I returned it and ordered another identical clock and the same thing happened. No pendulum swing. Return that too
