It said it would fit my Ram 3500 diesel truck but it do not fit it is for a gas engine truck now I have a lock cap that I don’t need

Completely secure!
This gas cap completely secures the gas tank of my Dodge Durango! I accidentally drove away before putting my previous locking cap back on, so this is the perfect replacement! I live in a city with many sketchy areas, so I only use a locking cap. The key is larger and thicker than my previous locking cap key and seems more sturdy. After it's unlocked, it needs to be pushed in kind of hard before twisting it open to remove, which feels far more secure than the previous one that any small key would open. This gas cap will only open with its included key, which comes with two. This is super handy to keep the extra key with my back up set of keys for just in case. It is well made and of super sturdy quality. Amazon verified first that it would fit my vehicle, which is super helpful. I highly recommend this gas cap!

Perfect fit
I received it fast and it fit perfectly!

Tricky opening it
It does lock for safety which is needed with todays high fuel prices. Found it difficult to unlock and remove. Luckily I was parked next to a locksmith at a gas station who showed me a trick. I don’t remember receiving instructions.

Duro poco..
La apertura de atasca luego de varios usos.. si la abres despacio como indica la tapa funcionó pero luego de varios usos ya no funciona.. se queda pegada y hay que aplicar mucha fuerza para poder abrir.. he intentado colocar grasa. Aceite para evitar que se que de e pegada pero no funciona.

Fell apart
It worked for about a month and half. Then it completely fell apart. Had to use pilers to get it off. Lock worked good while it was together though.
