Look and sound great
These are a great upgrade to small pole pickups on a telecaster. No more worry about matching up the strings. I did use copper foil in the pickup cavities and an additional ground wire. These sound full and clear with some guts to them. Are they 200 pickups? No but for the cost you can’t go wrong. Experiment with capacitor values and a treble bleed modification to find the right mix. I like them with 250k pots and 22 orange drop caps. The treble bleed mod is a personal choice. Makes amplifier settings and foot pedal boxes with lots of options.

Good pickup
Fast shipping. This pickup has really good tone, mine is about 7.5k. Nice medium of road power but is worth the money.

I think they put more time and effort into the packaging than they did the pick ups
Well, they come in a nice box all packaged in a box and they come with the screws, but however, the pickups couldn’t be mounted because there was no threads in the pick ups. They didn’t thread the holes in the pick ups and the screws were an odd size screw and they were not standard pick up screws so I had to tap the holes in the pick up For the standard 6/32 pick up screws in order to be able to use these. I still don’t know what they sound like yet, but I’m going to find out and I would imagine after the quality what I’ve seen. I’m probably going to be disappointed, but we’ll see. Buyer beware.

Low output, big magnets a fooler.
As a luthier in SE Tennessee, I build, restore and repair all types of stringed instruments.Twice I've had these in a Tele build, twice I've pulled them. OK resistance, but the impedance of the magnets is very low, so the string vibration cannot activate the magnetic field properly, causing low outputs. I bought two sets, learned my lesson...
