Mesquite thorns, what mesquite thorns?
Kickass tires I live in the mesquite, drive around the farm and haul a trailer on the road, tires are quiet, lots of cleats for gripping the mud and they look good. Great tires for the money.

Works and decent price
I have had these for a few years and recently bought 2 more due to bad wheel bearings. I initially bought these because they were the cheapest MT tires I could find for my plow truck... I was very happy with them at first, they were quiet and smooth, but they get louder as they wear.Fast forward a year and I had a wheel hub bearing fail which causes the wheel to "flop around" and they eventually caused the tire to get chopped up. Really no fault of the tire, but boy do they get loud.Due to their unidirectional design, you only rotate them front to back, without a cross... so that my contribute to the wear. Now when I went to replace 2 worn tires (the other 2 are pretty new) I find the cost of these tires has gone up $75... well they used to be a great deal...

May have trouble balancing
These tires arrived quickly and appeared to be in great shape. The tread on these tires is VERY deep and should do a great job providing traction in muddy terrain.I mounted these tires myself in an effort to save some money. Then I took them to my local tire center to have them balanced. These tires seem to be very quiet running down the road, but I seem to have a VERY pronounced vibration/bounce at 43-50 mph. I may need to have them rebalanced. I remember years ago I had bought some tires online (when it first became a thing) and wound having the same issue. It turned out one of them was actually egg shaped a little. They were Coopers, I think, and the company wound up getting me another tire. That being said, tires this size and load rating are expected to have a little bounce just because the side wall is so stiff. I’m waiting to get a heavy load of firewood on them to see how they do.So far I would recommend these tires. They were about half the price of BFGs, and they will suit my needs just fine. I’m only giving three stars though due to the vibration/bounce issue.
