Cobra - Perfume Oil by Al-Rehab (6ml)

I love strong oriental fragrances, and this is my favorite. It smells like the incense in a new age shop. If you like bold fragrances like Opium or Poison, this is for you. It is also unbelievably affordable and a little goes a long way.

I’ve been in search for a Dior Poison dupe. I had read reviews stating this particular perfume was in the same genre. While this does not smell anything like the original Dior Poison, I can see why this scent is put in the same genre, due to its bold,” I will be noticed” statement. A little goes a long ways. It is very long lasting, a has an amazing silage. So, what does this actually smell like ?It has a definite incense scent with a mix of heady jasmine florals that seem to be drenched in an old melted candle. It reminds me of an antique store with wood and candles and incense. It’s definitely a fall/winter fragrance. I feel like when I am wearing this, I smell like a walking wax warmer . I also get a good dose of a powdery smell in the dry down. It is very unique, and unforgettable. Warning: I would not wear this in a closed crowded setting.

This is very strong and floral at first but, as many Arabian perfumes do, dries down very different. It is warm, fruity (red fruits and plum), sweet, and very sexy. I'd consider this a night out scent.

I purchased this perfume because I read online that it’s the closest thing to the original formulation of Christian Dior’s Poison perfume- I’m referring to the 1985-1987 time frame. The original formulation was absolutely incredible…intoxicating…unlike anything else before or since. I have purchased a couple of vintage bottles of Poison from the 80s and they have degraded somewhat over time so the scent is not anywhere close to what it once was. I have to say, Cobra comes a lot closer to hitting the mark. Although it’s better than the degraded, vintage perfume, it’s still not Poison. I wish CD would make a special release of the original formulation!

I ordered 4 or 5 of these inexpensive roll on arabian perfume oils just to see how they smell and use then to carry in my purse daily. I liked all of them, but this one is definitley my favorite as it reminds me so much of Chanel #5 which is my favorite perfume, but is too expensive for me to buy on the regular. So happy with this find.

Very potent! This doesn't smell *like* White Diamonds, but it contains some of the same notes--tuberose, maybe. And it is very strong the way White Diamonds is--you only need a dab.Not what I expected with a name like Cobra, which is just fine with me.

I love al rehabs musk rose so I just bought to try other scents. This one was not bad. It doesn’t last long on my skin but that’s more of a skin chemistry thing. I like the scent but wish it lasted longer. I don’t like overpowering vanilla or fake fake vanilla smell. This was definitely more to my liking in that regard. I just wish it had more longevity.

Smells lovely, fragrance lasts all day. I will definitely order again.
