Powerful tool, with (e)quality
One of my favourite tools for team opinion visualisation. Not so much for myself, but as an amazing eye opener for all the members involved as they immediately have a real feel of weight put by everyone else. It also aligns everyone vision of the general picture over what is being evaluated. The cards are good quality too, although made of cardboard, they are pretty resilient and with a nice finish to it.P.S.: This is not a toy, but a team management tool.

Premium feeling cards with good quality of life features
The 2DOBoard Planning Poker cards are high quality useful for those with large teams. The box comes with 3 packs of cards, each with 4 sets of Fibonacci number based planning poker cards. A good quality of life feature is that each of those sets have different colour backs which makes it easier to dish out the cards to different team members. There are cards from 0 through to 100, as well as question mark and coffee cards. Each deck also contains some rules which, being picky, there is no need to have three sets of rules across this pack. Firstly, anyone seriously buying these likely already understand the rules of planning poker, but also there’s no need for so many copies of the rules which feels a bit wasteful.Overall, the numbers stand out well which is good for viewing from a distance, being colour coded also helps spot where there are differences in opinion across the team. One further improvement I would suggest would be for the colours to be more progressively changing throughout the numbers, so its easier to spot when numbers across the team are broadly similar vs where there is a bigger difference of opinion. At £16.95 for cards for 12 team members this is well priced and better than other cards I’ve used in the past.

Not great contrast
They're fine in person but they don't work on teams if someone has a background image, they simply disappear into the background.

Clever planning idea
If you have read the book Thinking Fast and slow you will know that almost every project a group of planners ever undertake always ends up being over-budget and late because they always make mistakes in estimating the time and resources needed. These cards try to address that issue. Each member of the team makes a bid for how long it will take/how much it will cost etc. based on numbers from the Fibonacci series rather than as incremental steps. The numbers are 0, 1/2, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 20, 40, 100. Once everyone makes their simultaneous bid the highest and lowest need to explain why they chose those values before repeating the bidding process until everyone agrees on the same bid. This is a good way to avoid group think or the lack of awareness brought about by a rigid management structure. By having the Fibonacci series you get a better discrimination than for incremental values and you are more likely to produce realistic estimates and bids. I think this is a fantastic tool that if it is calibrated appropriately can have a significant impact on planning and delivery.

An interesting addition to scrum meetings
These would make a unique gift for a scrum master or just a fun addition for scrum meetings. Are they going to change your life and turn planning into a world of joy? No, but they can add a little bit of a fun twist to the usual way of doing things. There are enough cards to support 12 team members. Each member gets 12 cards: numbered cards 0, 1/2, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 20, 40, 100 plus a coffee card and a question mark. The cards are one-sided so team members can vote without being influenced by the votes of others. On the back of each card is a different colour for each team member so you can identify who is left to vote. The numbered cards are used to vote your time estimation, coffee card can be used to indicate that a coffee break is needed and the question mark can be used to request additional clarification on the task being estimated.Very pleased with these cards. A cool idea that I haven't seen before, and if you are willing to pay the postage to each team member you can even flash the cards up to the webcam to vote in this post covid world. Recommended.

Keep you focused
£16.99 for this set and its worth every penny.Firstly they came in a good strong and colourful box which you store the cards in and the fact that the box is colourful they are easy to find if you put them in your drawer. When you open the box there is 3 sets of card which means there is enough for 12 players (there is also easy instructions in there to).Secondly these are great as a visual thing for team work and team building.I love how they are colourful in pastel colours too. They keep you focused. And thirdly, these are a great addition to your work place and I would highly recommend.

Helpful for business analysts.
I currently work as a business analyst helping the development of software in a team, so these planning cards are really helpful for my work.I wasn't sure these would be helpful at first, but after taking them to work, they have helped more than I though, and essentially, helped us grow, and we even slowly got into a mode and not need to rely on these cards. Can be for up to 12 people, as there are 12 decks, which is more than enough for our needs.Comes with instructions, which are quite easy to follow and the cards themselves are simple enough as well.£16.95 at the time of review isn't too bad. If you're looking to help a team grow, it's worth the investment.

Great for begging agile thinking
Simple packed but with everything you need. The set allows you to get a big team (up to 12) to start getting into the agile work frame. You get sets of card that in the back look alike but on the front you get different values to help you with the weight of your stories. Easy concept to follow, people get to express their thoughts without influence from others.Amazing to start discussions and get the ball rolling. Great supporting tool specially for teams that are starting to change their mind sets into agile.
