Cactus Candy Company - Prickly Pear Taffy (5lb (80oz))

When I bought this, I was looking for more information since the product image and product description said it was green but one of the reviews said it was pink. Also the product description didn’t say how many taffy pieces come in a 5lb bag. I need this for a work event and we are making southwest themed swag gifts, so I took my chances and ordered one bag to see what it looked like and count how many are in the bag.The taffy is pink with green stripes. It’s not solid green. I also thought this was a Cactus Taffy product, because that is the label on the bag in the picture. Cactus Taffy is a brand that I see in a lot of Southwest shops that sell cactus flavored treats. The bag that I received did not have the Cactus Taffy Product sticker on it. It was a clear bag with a logo for “Taffy Town.” I counted them and there are 332 taffy prices. 24 of them were a little melted but it’s Arizona and the high was 94 degrees today, so that’s something to consider. I tasted one of them and they are pretty delicious I had to fight the urge to not have another. lol. I don’t usually like Taffy but this was really good and it was soft.I gave it 5 stars because it’s delicious and I’m excited to use it in our swag gifts. I just wanted to give thorough information, based on things that I was looking for when trying to order it, so I hope this helps others.

Yummmmmyyyy! Great flavor & texture! They went into welcome boxes for our Arizona wedding. I planned on them being green, but they were a great addition, regardless!

Since I love Prickly Pear anything this is good to keep for snacking or lunches. Plenty in that 5lb bag!
