This is a Real Hidden Gem!
This speaker is definitely a sleeper! I’ve found very little information about it online, no “buzz” whatsoever. That includes reviews, product details and instructions (much of what I did find is outdated, conflicting or just wrong!) I’ll get into that later.Just a note, I purchased the Gold version (Don’t know how it was incorrectly shown as Silver.) After looking at many available options, I purchased and compared both this model and the very well regarded Anker Soundcore Motion Boom Plus. Many hours of listening to both with a large variety of music genres, I found myself leaning more and more to the full and balanced sound of this speaker. It isn’t loaded with the most recent capabilities and functionality found with the Soundcore (and many others), it’s actually pretty old school, but what it does, it does exceptionally well.Monster refers to their many decades of experience. The result of all this experience is a finely tuned sound profile that truly delivers. Its very accurate, near reference quality, sound approaches audiophile standards. This is accomplished with a proprietary DSP (digital signal processor). This chip also prevents distortion, cleans up digital compression artifacts, and makes older source material sound fantastic. Vocals in songs, and just voices in general, are very clear and sound great. I was very impressed with how good classic radio shows (30’s thru early 60’s) sound when played through this speaker. The deficiencies of these very old recordings are mostly corrected and bigger issues are significantly improved. There are a few things I’d like to mention regarding misinformation in the provided documentation. But first, and not nearly stressed enough, right out of the box, TOP OFF THE BATTERY BEFORE DOING ANYTHING ELSE! Not doing this will likely affect battery longevity down the road (this is true with ALL devices powered with lithium-ion batteries!) The quick start guide also warns to use a dedicated 5 volt only, 2 amp or better, charger or battery damage could occur, but this is not true (also, try finding a charger with these specs. Not easy!) Use a USB-C charger, 2 amps or better (less current than this will result in significantly longer, possibly never ending, charging times); not hard to find at all, but don’t go cheap. More expensive chargers have superior battery protection and manage charging requirements better. The power button will flash red, indicating charging is in progress (not solid red, as incorrectly indicated in the guide.) The light goes off when charging is completed. Disconnect the charger as soon as possible once done, don’t let it “float” (it’s not good for the battery to leave it connected any longer than necessary.) It takes about 3 hours to fully charge from “battery low” and I’ve been getting 15-20 hours of music per charge at 40% volume (close enough to the advertised 24 hours.) When not being used for a long time, top off the battery every 6 weeks (yet another preventative measure in the extension of the batteries useful life.)There is a significant error in the product features listed, this unit IS NOT TWS CAPABLE! It was really hard to get an answer on this, as I found both yes and no responses to the question. I even found specific instructions on how to pair 2 of these speakers in TWS mode, but nothing happened (it’s like it doesn’t have this functionality.) The product information on Amazon (as well as other sites) says it is TWS capable, even touts it as a feature. This inaccurate information is provided by Monster and not the fault of Amazon or other sellers.I finally contacted Monster directly about this, looking for a definitive answer (using contact information provided by Amazon), which yielded yet another surprise. This speaker is not a product of “Monster Products”, but of “Monster China” (a completely different company.) Monster “Products” couldn’t answer the question as a result, but did provide me with the contact information for Monster “China”. I sent them an email; no response. It’s confusing! The logo, font, etc., look identical (Also, the whole “decades of experience” sales pitch.) It seems that there are 2 different “Monsters” roaming this planet!Luckily, I also purchased this speaker from another seller (I was, after all, under the impression that 2 could be linked as a stereo pair!) I inquired with them and they were able to get a definitive answer. A polite, very apologetic “no”, it isn’t TWS capable.Obviously disappointed, but I’m otherwise so impressed with this speaker that it really doesn’t matter.Other reviews have complained that there is no “battery low” warning. Not true, it’s a spoken prompt from the speaker, as is some other information, like Bluetooth pairing progress (although, that also has a button, with a light.)Also, not mentioned anywhere, but discovered quite by accident. This unit can be played while charging (I was quite surprised!) Previously mentioned charging behaviors still apply, so disconnect the charger once the battery is full. This information is only provided to let you know that the speaker can be used.In the end, this speaker doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of many other competing products, but it delivers where it counts, sound quality. “Bass Heads” may complain that this unit lacks bass and is, therefore, a fail. Their idea of “good” sound is, however, thunderous, solid “punchy” bass ALL THE TIME! This speaker does deliver on this (well, maybe not the thunderous part), but only when it’s part of the original presentation. It presents the source material as intended by the artist, not the whims of the individual. If you’re interested in accurately reproducing the music (or any other source material) that you enjoy listening to, give this speaker a try. You won’t be disappointed!

Durable, excellent sound quality, great value
Just used this speaker on a 5 day camping trip. It was the primary speaker used for an outdoor group of 53 people. It was plenty loud and the audio quality was great. Good bass level. Used throughout the day and late into the night on one charge. I'm sure it would have lasted even longer but I'd charge it every night just incase. It got repeatedly doused with buckets of water and banged around during a all campground water fight and it still works perfectly. I got mine for $120 and I don't know of another speaker that is as good for that cost. Extremely pleased.

Battery life sucks
It absolutely has no charge after playing an hour. It literally won’t charge enough to play all day at work. Which is BS for what you pay this thing should work perfectly. Very disappointed in this speaker. If you can’t use it for 8 hours because it keeps shutting off even if you charge it all night and keep it plugged in while using it won’t work after a few hours. Worse speaker I’ve ever had.Update it doesn’t get better sad the money you pay for this speaker they should be ashamed to sell this at this price

Yet again misleading ad.
Amazon must be wondering why I keep returning different radios. Well it appears that these companies are deceiving the public with the wrong info. I try and listen to reviews but it seems like the cheaper the radio, the worse it sounds. I so far purchased two different monster boomboxes. This recent one was in no way 100 watts. I had it at full volume and 5 feet from my wife and I while having a conversation and we still heard each other. Monster has so far been disappointing. The anker pictured was also not all the hype. The white monster was big and loud but fell short on the highs. I mean who builds a boombox with just midranges and subwoofers. Sounded awful. So far the Tribit pictured has best all of them. It’s loud, it has bass like a JBl and it’s priced right. Again this monster is not 100 watts and falls short on the bass. I’m done with monster and their false advertisement. Sorry amazon for so many returns. Maybe these sellers should just tell the truth about these Bluetooth speakers.
