Thanks to that I managed to get some things out of the sink. Works great

We bought this to deal with a clog in a bathroom sink where the trap had been installed improperly. I was able to get a few rubber bands and a few gross clumps of "stuff" out with it. In other words it saved us the expense of calling a plumber to cut out the trap and install a new one. It's nothing fancy but it does the job well.

The media could not be loaded. So I wanted a shorter one for my kitchen sink. There are really long ones, but wanted a short one, was very happy to find a shorter one. Overall is pretty good, the (red) plastic is not super great, not sure if will break or not. The only issue is that the thing is pretty much always bent due to the shipping. I hung it and pressed stuff on it, but after all attempts could not get it fully straightened out, so always bent, but still overall good.

Needed to retrieve a lost doorbell wire inside a wall via knock-out plugs in switch box. This did the job. Given it does not have any "on-board" illumination, bit tricky to position this AND a borescope camera with led lights, but got it to work. The 4 fingered claws moved in and out fine any number of times (like I said, tricky to position). Its flexibility both a plus and a minus - can maneuver, but for long reaches, frustrating to position exactly. Longevity unknown, but it did work for what I needed, and will keep for future "fetches".

This grabber did the trick. It's not the kind of thing you need everyday, but very useful when you do. However, I have owned it less than 3 years, haven't used it more than 7-8 times and it now doesn't work. I don't know how it broke and I can't quite tell what's wrong with it. I never put any stress on it, it may have retracted too far the last time I used it. In any event, working less than 10 times it should get less than a star rating, as it is now environmental waste.

I used this to retrieve the sink stopper's eyebolt rod that became dislodged in my Kohler bathroom sink. The p-traps under the sink were not removable.It took me about 40 attempts to retrieve it, but it got it! After the first 10 attempts, I was doubtful it would work; even if it didn't get the eyebolt rod, It was still useful in cleaning out the slimy gunk that developed in the p-trap.I measured the usable length to be 32". Other reviewers measured a little bit over 33". It was plenty for me to use with my bathroom sink, but be aware of this if the length is critical.

I definitely made some progress pulling the clog from my drain. But there are a series of minor issues that make this overall disappointing. The product almost immediately fell apart when I was trying adjust angles, it did come back together easily too. The shape is not really round in any helpful way, meaning it would catch in the draining and makes navigation a huge pain.I'm torn because it was cheap and helped me get a shower tonight, but it was definitely not a substitute for a proper snake, and my drain is not really fixed.

My drain hole was too small for this or anything else, however, it was not a complete loss because it's fantastic for cleaning my vacuum hose that got clogged! I've never seen a drain hole as small as ours so it will probably be perfect for most. I'd definetly purchase it again if it broke however I don't think I'll have to as its very well made!
