Great to Brush Up on Basic Principles
I bought this book as I had moved across country with my husband and was looking for a new job in Marketing. It was helpful just to brush up on key principles and buzzwords for my interviews.

Another HBR gem
Like most HBR books, contains invaluable and interesting information on marketing. A good mix of old principals with new concepts that reflect the realities of today's modern, short attention span, social media driven consumer.

Good but Nothing Really that New or Noteworthy
This is pretty good book but there isn't too much in here that you haven't heard before if you are a trained marketer. What is nice is the reinforcement and the case studies. I just wish it was more actionable with frameworks or systems to use.

Seminal Read for any Marketer
Honestly this is a seminal read for anyone involved in marketing. One Article, originally published in the 60's, was far ahead of its time and still extremely relevant.

Good Marketing Collection
Lots of worthwhile articles. HBR does a good job with its collections. The only knock would be that some of these articles are available on the Internet free of charge.

Customer Centricity ist ein gutes Konzept, alle Artikel in dieser HBR Sammlung drehen sich darum. Allerdings lässt es sich schnell zusammenfassen: Verkaufe etwas, das Menschen haben wollen.Die Artikel sind leider auch schon etwas überholt. Beim Beitrag, der vorschlägt man solle den CMO durch einen Chief Customer Officer (CCO) ersetzen dem dann so ziemlich alle unterstehen, Marketing Personal durch Customer Manager ersetzen, und überhaupt die ganze Organisation ändern, musste ich schmunzeln. Den (akademischen) Autoren fehlte ganz offensichtlich der Einblick in die Alltagsrealität großer Organisationen.
