I ADORE IT!!
I've been trying to buy this product for AGES, but for some reason, it wouldn't ship to Colombia at first so I gave up. Finally was able to buy it, and it smells great, it didn't stain my white bathroom, color looks AMAZING. I was going for a full head but very glad I decided against it, I have a lot and very long black hair, and I would have definitely needed 2 or maybe 3 tubes. It did stain my pillow case but to be fair, my hair was damp and the pillow case is white so that is mostly my fault, however, it was more of a faded pink and it was easy to remove pretty much all of it in 1 wash.

Great product but odd color
This was easy to use and conditioned my hair as well as died it. Rather than die and dry if you know what I mean haha I love how it feels. Unfortunately when I rinsed it out the second day my hair had gone from purple to teal. I am not sure why that happened it has never happened before. I did not shampoo at all for 4 days just rinsed. Very odd. Beware of this.

It actually worked!
This was my 3rd attempt to dye my hair blue and the 3rd brand I tried. The first 2 did not take... My hair just rejected the blue and it came out very lite. With this brand, it actually worked!! My hair is SO blue!! The only problem I had is that I have too much hair and should have gotten 2 tubes of dye instead of just one because by the time I got to the ends of my hair I was running out of dye, but that's a me problem and not a dye problem. I'm definitely going to use this again!

Going straing back to Overtone - this product is awful
Been dying my hair and my partners hair with Overtone color conditioner for over 3 years. Decided to give this product a try because it's cheaper. Will definitely never buy it again.I have quite a high skill level in dying hair with color conditioners. I bleach my partners black middle eastern hair to blonde and dye his bright blue. My hairdresser bleaches my hair to a perfectly even level 10 blonde and then I color my own hair pink, usually with Overtone. I always get compliments that my hair dye is super even, and the same for my partner too.Despite having quite a high skill level, it was almost impossible to get this product even. It felt like my hair was eating the product, and it was way too thick to spread evenly. It took more than twice the time that it takes with Overtone to get it to what looked even. There just wasn't enough moisture in the product for it to spread properly. I used 2 tubes for my medium length hair. And there are no guidelines anywhere about how much product to buy.In the three and a half years that I've been dying my hair pink, it has never come out such an awful mess as this. The front is florescent pink. There are patches that look pinky orange. The back looks a completely different color to the top. It is patchy all over. There are blonde patches where it didn't take at all. I'm going to need to wash it several times to get the pink to fade, and then start again. I don't recommend this product at all, even if you are reasonably experienced in using color conditioners.

It dyes your hair.
I've been using this dye for a few years now. I've never tried anything else, so I really have nothing to compare it to in terms of what lasts longer and what has the best color.I have darker brown hair half way down my back. The lightener kit helps out a lot to make the color more vivid, use that every other dye. Sister uses a bottle and a half of the dye on me.This dye has a couple different batches. One of them is a darker purple, which fades into a blue color with each wash. Another one (the newer batch) is more of a brighter pinkish purple, which fades to a more pinker hair...So really, it's only purple for as long as you can withstand not washing your hair. Maybe still a bit purple after the first couple washes.Honestly thought, I kind of like the fading and sporadic color spreadout when I do wash...it's pretty neat, I dunno if it's just me or what but I've been told it's mermaidish? My Sister says she doesn't know why it happens like that.I dunno how easy this is so use, I probably couldn't do it myself, but I guess I could learn, it would probably be a total MESS though...My Sister dyes my hair for me, and it's a pretty painful experience, so I probably should learn to do it myself...but like I said, trying to get all that dye dispersed throughout all my hair and then washing it out in the sink would probably be a messy disaster for me to take on by myself, no way you want to do that in the shower, it's gonna stain...So anyways I like it...it's kind of a pricey thing to get into, but I've been having my hair dyed with it every couple months for the past 2 years. Once you start you don't wanna stop.

Green hair dye doesn’t work on black hair
Everything this touches turns green. Hands=green, scalp=green, counter=green, shower=green, sweat=green, shirt=green… except black hair=black (not even a greenish tint). To be fair the instructions say to bleach your hair first. So it probably works if you follow the instructions. I was just hoping to use this for temporary color for a Halloween costume, and didn’t want to bleach my hair. Next time I’ll just get a cheap wig. Just be careful you don’t stain your counters or anything else, it was very potent stuff so it probably works fine on bleached or lighter color hair.

Did they change the dye?
I’ve been using this dye every few months for a few years with great results. Always the same color. I am a natural dirty blonde with natural highlights, so I never lighten my hair before using it. I had been purchasing at my local walmart, but they stopped carrying it so I made my first Amazon purchase in February, but I also had a tiny bit leftover from a previous Walmart purchase. When I opened the new bottle I first noticed that the color was darker and even checked the color name to make sure it was correct. I then compared it to my older tube and it was several shades darker than the old one. After dyeing my hair, it noticed it didn’t color as well as it did previously, and then it was nearly gone after two weeks, when previously it stayed vibrant for at least two weeks before slowly fading over MONTHS. I thought maybe it was a fluke, but I ordered a new tube a few weeks ago and it has once again, barely taken. And it is fading so fast and is barely there now after two weeks. So disappointed. It looks like I will have to find a new brand.
