This is not a long-term review, so I am not discussing long-term durability. I’ve just received the cover, and it is exactly what I was expecting.This cover was for my Apple Pencil 2. It was easy to install and the process was simple. Yes, you have to put the tip of the pencil through the small cut-out where the Apple logo will be. It did not rip when I did this. I went slow, and the silicone was not overly grippy. Do not try to pry the opening any bigger than it needs to, and just slowly push the pencil in. It took about a minute to do this.I specifically bought this cover because of the way you install it. I’ve had two other types of silicone covers. Both of those were easy to install and looked nice on my pencil. One was a one-piece that you just slipped the pencil through like a tube. The other was split into two pieces. However, both had a similar flaw when using the pencil. When you are applying pressure to the pencil to write or draw, you start to push the cover off. It is inevitable with their design. The single tube style would slowly push backwards. The two-piece style would begin to slide forward over the pencil tip. So, I specifically wanted a cover that comes as a single piece that you install without an opening on either end. In theory, the pencil cover should not move forward or backwards as the opening is in the middle. The only risk is if the silicone starts to stretch around the tip end, and the cover starts to slide backwards like the tube style cover I had. I will have to wait and see if that happens.I have not tested the tap function because I don’t tend to use it. However, I can confirm that the pencil charges wirelessly on the iPad.I provided pictures to at least answer the questions I brought up.Does it charge wireless on iPad?Answer: YesHow do you install it?Answer: I provided a photo that shows the instructions it comes with. The paper the instructions are on is also a tool that helps you remove the cover. That is why it has a hole.What other silicone covers am I talking about?Answer: look at the photo for referenceFor the price, I recommend the two pack since it is only a little bit more than just purchasing one. If you are worried about the silicone tearing, you will have a backup. I wish there were more color combinations. I would have loved to have gotten the lavender purple with pink or lavender purple with a bright blue. I got the lavender purple with white and gave the white cover to my sister who was using my older tube style silicone cover. She was experiencing the same issue with the cover slipping off. I installed both with no issues. I would have also liked if the silicone had some texture to give it more grip while holding it, but it is not that big of a deal. My last cover had flat ridges which helped it from rolling and felt nice to hold but I will get use to this one. The cover is slim as promised. So far, so good.

I love how thin they are and the colors are great. I have the dark grey and royal blue one. They fit in my iPad case pencil holder and charge perfectly. Took me maybe 1 min to get it on and off my Apple Pencil. To all who are ripping theirs in half while putting it on and taking it off - DO NOT PULL THE ACTUAL SILICONE THAT ISNT ON THE PENCIL!! Yes that will tear it for sure! It’s thin, its not going to hold up against pulling it. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Shimy it up or down from the silicone ON THE PENCIL. You can totally feel it moving slowly. Have patience! The ripping apart is COMPLETELY user error, NOT the product! TOTALLY RECOMMEND!! More neutral colors though would be great!😁

Purchased this for mother because she said her pen was slippery ( 92 years) it was extremely difficult to pull on to the pen, it even ripped. Total waste of money.

This ultra-thin silicone skin cover for the Apple Pencil 2nd Gen has been a fantastic addition to my iPad Pro setup. The "Glow Green" color is vibrant and makes my pencil easy to spot, while the slim profile adds protection without bulk. I was also pleasantly surprised by how well it protects against minor bumps and scratches.This sleeve is a perfect blend of functionality and style. It doesn't interfere with the magnetic charging or double-tap functionality, which is crucial. The soft silicone material feels great in hand, and the added layer of protection gives me peace of mind.

Pros: Vibrant color! Protective cover! Soft/smooth. Makes it easier to hold and use the Apple Pencil . No problems charging with it on.Pro or Con: The material is thick and depending on your case it may or may not fit in the slot. Mine no longer easily fits the slot but it’s not a big deal to me. It does not slide easily: obviously a pro when it comes to using the Apple Pencil as you wouldn’t want it sliding around as you use it but a con because putting it on was quite difficult.Cons: the open area at the top does easily rip and mine did rip slightly while putting it on and this is why I gave a 4 star review.Once it was on then there was no way I was taking it off. It was a struggle but it does make the Apple Pencil easier to hold, the color is exactly what I wanted, and it’s super soft and comfortable to hold. Definitely recommend and would say maybe do some research to find an easier way to put it on!

Don’t buy if you like the double-tap feature. Works 50% at best. Great fit. Great feel. Just disappointed double-tap doesn’t work.

This case provides great stability and grip for my Apple Pencil. It is comfortable to write with. It has held up really well and is great quality for the price. It’s semi thicker than I thought it would be which made putting it on a little tricky but it only took a couple of minute of working the pen down through the top slot.

Tricky to place at first but once you get the trick is easy to remove and place again. This is perfect for drawing as the pen doesn't slip. I still cannot comprehend why the pen's initial design didn't come with a soft pre-made grip but that's the enigmatic question the universe. But this definitely adds a nice feel to it. Love the color. Tempted in getting the other blue hues that they offer. Highly recommend.BUYERS NOTE: This WILL NOT CHARGE with the ESR for iPad Pro 11 Hybrid Case (2022/2021). It will magnetize but it will not prompt the charge. So you will have to remove the silicone cover in order to charge it and then place it again. If you are getting that iPad cover and you do not have the patience, do not get this. It's either that or getting a separate charger.
