Nicely detailed toy.
I purchased this toy for display purposes as part of my collection of Star Wars ships. The Micro Galaxy Squadron ships are generally fairly detailed and accurate. The proportions are sometimes a little off, but they are toys not model replicas so one shouldn't expect them to be exact. They do make a relatively inexpensive alternative for those of us who want reasonable detail but don't need "camera ready" pieces for our collections. Not a lot of features on the N-1 Straighter. There is a removable Mandalorian figure. Grogu is not removable. The figure is very small and therefore not very detailed, but you can tell its Mando. It does have "landing gear" but it is more functional that movie accurate. This is true for most of the Micro Galaxy Squadron ships. Better on some than others. As far as playability goes, no lights or sounds, but a kid should still have fun with it. Again, the Mando figure is small and easy to lose.

One of the better Galaxy Squadron Ships.
This is actually one of the better Galaxy Squadron ships, and over all just a great ship design as a whole. This now sits on a display near my PC when I game.I will say though, as a toy, I dont know if this would be great for kids, as the over all thinner plastic bits feel delicate, and can prob be bent or broken quite easily, and with as small of a figure these are, easily lost.

Fantastic detail and realism.
Very sturdy, great as a collectible and as a toy.

Better than the old Galoob Action Fleet version.
I loved Galoob's Action Fleet ships as a kid, and as the second hero ship of the original Star Wars Trilogy (after the Millennium Falcon, of course), the X-Wing was close to, if not my absolute favorite. However there was always one glaring issue with that toy that bothered me; the entire forward fuselage sculpt was wrong, being significantly thicker and blunter than the filming models from the source material. This didn't stop me from having plenty of fun with the toy as a kid, but it did always bother me a little that the starfighter was never as angular and exciting looking as it should have been. This new toy from Jazwares is a bit smaller, but rectifies Galoob's old sculpt oversight, while still retaining all the same functionality of the old Action Fleet toy, with the exception of a mounting point and stand. Molded details are crisp and plentiful. Paint application is clean and accurate. The s-foils (or wings) and landing gear are fully articulated and snap into the open and closed positions with just the right amount of security. The cockpit canopy opens to allow the pilot figure to sit snugly in the seat, and the astromech droid can be inserted and removed easily with a push-in plate on the bottom of the ship.My gripes with the toy are fairly minimal. The astromech could sit more securely in the ship, as it tends to fall out during evasive maneuvers, the cockpit canopy could use slightly more paint to reach the edges, and one final sculpt error has been carried over from previous iterations of the X-Wing in the form of the engine exhausts, which should all be equal length, but are instead longer on the top, and shorter on the bottom.Overall, I think this new X-Wing is the superior version, and so far I'm enjoying the Micro Galaxy Squadron line. It's nice to see them taking on both new and old ships, and I look forward to picking up some more soon.

High detail, beautiful paint job, not fragile but treat with care, This is the way.
Bought for 16.99 and worth the money if you can get it for that price. The detail on this model is fantastic for a toy and even a toy from this line. Very screen accurate! The only downfall of this paint job is the missing black in the visor of Din.The plastic is durable and has flexible parts but I am a collector I'm not sure how long this would have lasted as a kid! The weakest part is the cockpit, do not force it past it'simot or it may snap.Only assembly required is attaching the tail fin to the hull, it snaps into place and will not come out again easily. Treat it carefully and will withstand light play and careful storage.Grab it if you can!

If you can find the N1 at retail price, it's an excellent buy
I was lucky enough to find the Mandalorian N1 fighter listed at a proper $16.99 price tag and snagged it as quick as I could before the price gauging monsters could hike it back up over $50. This review would be very, very different if I'd paid nearly triple for the ship.If you're lucky enough to get the N1 at retail price, you're in for a treat. This is easily one of the most detailed ships in the Micro Galaxy Squadron line. The folks at Jazwares must've recognized the pressure to pay appropriate homage to such a popular addition to the Star Wars universe, because they've added a ton of intricate detail to the sculpting and painting of this model. This is also one of the sturdiest ships in the Light Armor class of vehicles. Whereas Bo Katan's starfighter has flimsy wing tips and I'm afraid to let my son touch the laser cannons on the X-Wing, all of the extended tips of the N1 model are made of a rigid plastic that seems up to the task of being played with by a 5 year old.Din Djarin's jetpack/cape are removable so that he can fit into the cockpit. Unfortunately, you cannot remove baby Grogu from his bubble seat where the R2 unit typically sits. This is an understandable concession given how small he has to be to stay in line with the scale of the ship. All in all, a tremendous new addition to the collection.
