Little delicate but a good unit!
Overall this is a great unit! My biggest hesitancy before buying it was the noise level. The unit that was in my RV before I installed this was not quite at all, I could not run it through the night and get any reasonable sleep. This one is a whole world better! Any of the lower settings and I can sleep just fine. One thing to note - another reviewer posted a video with the fan moving and a very loud sound. Well, they need to pop out the screen and pop it down, it will hold itself either concave or convex, and in packing it seems to have gotten pushed up when it should be down. So that review is use your error, don't listen to those folks, the screen is trivial to pop out. It also moves way more air than my last fan at the same power consumption. Installation was definitely a job!

Great product
Very happy with this purchase. Easy installation where my previous vent was and the rain sensors worked as described. Very nice to have a remote control. The only thing that would make it better would be to have an integrated light that was functional with the remote.

Works like a champ and a nice price, too
Simple swap out in my 2016 FR Wildcat. Watched a lot of vids on YT and tackled it with no problem.

Ok price for a good fan. Bad instructions are confusing…
The media could not be loaded. First, the manual states “The Ventilator black wire identified with a tag showing (+) must be connected to the vehicle 12 volt (+)positive supply.” But the black wire has a “-“ tag on it, and the white wire has the “+” tag. I used a tester to figure out which wire went to the fuse, since the fuse is frequently on the positive side, and it was the white wire, so I wired it according to the tags on the wire and ignored the opposite instructions in the manual. The install was otherwise normal, the plastic didn’t crack under the strain of the screws, and it fit well. Trimming the inside “Garnish ring” was easy with tin snips, the plastic didn’t shatter or crack with that either. The lowest two speeds are very quiet, although not silent. The hum of the highest speeds can be heard at the opposite end of the trailer, 25 feet away, but it’s not obnoxious at all.Measuring the noise, I don’t have a test chamber so ambient sound without the fan is 31dB. Measured 3 feet away:Speed SPL1 35dB2 36dB3 46dB4 50dB5 56dB6 61dBSo it’s reasonably quiet - less than typical office noise. The reverse button is a nice feature that I’m not sure I’ll ever use, but I’m glad it’s available. The glass fuse is accessible from the inside, so it’s easy to change if needed. The fan ramps up to speed, and ramps down, so there’s no sudden jolt of sound when starting and stopping, which is nice at night.I replaced one of those old vent fans with a tiny fan in a big screen opening, which was probably close to useless. This one is a large bladed fan with a shroud and it definitely moves a lot of air.The open/close knob, however, hasn’t been improved, and it’s just as hard to deal with as the old vent lids. We crank it open a few inches when we set up, and crank it closed when we leave, so it shouldn’t be an issue, but an extra few dollars here would make than mechanism buttery smooth. I’m certainly not paying $$$ more for a motorized vent lid when the additional parts are cheap, but I do wish they put a little more effort into this mechanism. The manual isn’t terribly translated, but it does include the wiring error, and is obviously a translation. Not a deal breaker, but you should know what you’re getting.Since the manual isn’t available anywhere I could find it, I’ll include pictures of each page so you can review if you like. Sorry it’s sideways - Amazon app isn’t good for landscape mode I guess.

That lack of help from the manufacture.
The fan part did not work, with lack of help or text support from the manufacturers or a phone number to get help.

No terribly hard to install, harder to get the old fan out of the RV. Plan on a few hours.
The final finished product is great! Much quieter then the last fan. Doesn’t seem as strong but it’s still good.

Faulty circuit board
The media could not be loaded. I should have read the reviews. This is a poor quality product. Something is wrong with the circuit board and it won't power the fan motor for more than 3 seconds. Confirmed 12v to the circuit board, tried everything I could as far as rewiring it. Nothing worked.Like other reviews stated, the instructions are bad. Is says the black wire should be (+) but instead it has a (-) sticker on it so after figuring out that it was reversed, I connected the black wire to the white wire of the power supply. 12v to the circuit board but still having issues.

Good Quality Lid
I like the quality of the lid on this. The clear raised x pattern makes the lid very solid and not thin or flimsy like some others. The numbered buttons with lights for fan speed is also better than some of the others with just up or down arrows. With this one you will always know what setting your on at a glance.
