My betta doesn't seem to be interested in the food. Is there anyway to get it to eat the food?

Some bettas are very picky. I had to experiment with 3 different foods to get mine to eat. I vary with dried blood worms also from Amazon, along with brine shrimp from another container that has has 3 different betta foods in it. I turn the lid to "dial" the food I want. The pet store told me that some are just picky eaters and I'd have to try different foods.

This food turned my white/opal betta fish into a pink colored fish. Anyone can reckoned a non-color boosting food betta food?

A betta’s color fades when it is stressed so your white betta may have just been a stressed pink one.

Will this keep my goodish beta healthy without a plant?

I don’t see why not but this won’t make your betta happier like a plant will. I have 2 bettas eating this currently one is in a planted 20 community tank while the other is in a 10 with a few feeder guppies. Both are doing very well and are happy. I have “floaters” on the surface for my betta with no plants and she likes to “hide” under them. Maybe a floating decoration would help to make your betta happier.
