The media could not be loaded. This product works really well for assembling my hand made jewelry. They are very heavy duty and durable. They open and close easy and great value for the money. I highly recommend these!

If you want something just for rings this is best. Don’t buy expensive fancy colored aluminum junk. This one lives on the build bench.

These work well for getting into a standard keyring. Unfortunately for thicker gauges they're a little bit too flimsy.

I cannot tell you how many snap rings I have put on fishing lures with these but before I had them it took me so much longer and I'd always break my nails or stab underneath my nail or watch it fly across the room when it slipped out of my fingers, these things are a life saver, or should I say hand saver.

Doesn't open split key rings wide enough. A regular claw staple remover works better.

Yes on a fishing trip we found we had some small split rings to fit into the lures so they would connect onto swivels better but really the only thing we had to get the rings apart was a kitchen case knife.... you gotta make do with what you got. Found this pair of pliers online and have used it ever since. No matter what you do the ring is under tension so yes it can come off but this is much easier to do and one person can do it. Haven't found the downside to it yet.
