Fun chocolate gift idea
These Milk Chocolate Crayon Pencils are a fun gift idea. The small box contains 8 chocolate crayons, each resembling a crayon, and the Belgian milk chocolate is creamy and smooth. The coloured white chocolate topping gives it the crayon look, though it doesn’t add much to the flavour, the chocolate tastes the same across all the pieces. The size of the crayons is ideal for a stocking filler or a secret Santa gift, making it a quirky treat. However, the price seems a bit high for the amount you get, especially given that the taste is similar to the cheaper chocolates I’ve had in the past (Rhymes with Kinnerton).Probably not suitable for toddlers, don't want them thinking they can eat crayons.Came in protective packaging and all the crayons were in one piece. How I rate the products:5 stars: As advertised, works as expected, nice packaging.4 stars: Not quite as expected, possibly misleading in description or issue with packaging.3 stars: Average product, works okay but nothing special.2 stars: A cheap or untrustworthy product, not expecting it to last long.1 star: Came broken or unusable.

Cool looking
So cool looking but lacking in flavour. Whilst these look pretty awesome i wasn't as taken a back with the flavour. They weren't very sweet nor chocolatey despite being Belgian chocolate. Still tasty, just not as tasty as i had anticipated.

Low quality chocolate
Lacking flavour and very waxy texture. Definitely not premium chocolate. Wouldn't recommend them.

Its okay
Far too expensive for this chocolate .. especially when it's a tiny box and it tastes like cheap chocolate from a £1advent calendar at Christmas

Poor presentation and bland taste
I'd like to think that the disaster that happened in our pack was due to the delivery and not at the factory where they were produced, when we received them they looked like the first 3 in the pack have been melted and bent to the shape of a backward C.The packet is very basic and the plastic insert doesn't do the chocolates any favours, especially for the price tag where I would have liked to see eco friendly inserts, and a better tasting chocolate. As I've just stated above the chocolate is definitely missing that expensive taste, it just tastes like a cheap bland chocolate, there was definitely nothing that said Buy Me again. At £8.50 at the time of writing this review, for 8 small chocolate pencils this is seriously overpriced and I along with the rest of the family who tried them weren't impressed at all.

Very delicious Belgian chocolate!
This is cute pack of 8 milk chocolates, designed as pencils in cute packaging. They are incredibly moreish - I ate every single one as I wrote this review, which was very quick! I was going to give them to my kids to try, but they were out and I was hungry so...They are quite thick, but not too hard - they obviously soften if you warm them up slightly. The taste starts off a bit basic, but once you get into it, you do get the lovely rich milk chocolate that is just sooo tasty. They state that they are made from creamy milk chocolate, enriched with 100% pure cocoa butter, and free from palm oil which may good for those looking for palm oil free chocolate which is harder to find these days! They are made in a factory that contains nuts, milk, gluten, soya, sesame and eggs, so be aware in case you may be allergic.

Nice enought choclate in a small box
These are a fun little item and although not the biggest, they are a great small gift for the chocolate and art lover! The taste isn't too bad at all, and they make a lovely treat or would make a perfect stocking filler this Christmas too. A nice enough, small treat that are fun.

Not Really The Premium Chocolate Experience I Expected
I am lead to believe that Leonidas is a very premium chocolate brand. The price they are charging for this pack is certainly premium at (currently) £8.50. That is three times the price (per 100g) as most Lindt chocolates. In contrast, the box and presentation is pretty average, and I'm afraid that the chocolate has been rattled around enough that there are bits of chocolate crumbs scattered on & around the box which worsen the overall look.Incidentally, my box was different to the blue box shown in the Amazon listing. Mine was a yellow colour with a cartoon of a cheeky monkey eating one of the pencils. The chocolate is nice enough, but it is quite mild in flavour, and doesn't seem anywhere near the rich flavours I remember when I last had some Leonidas chocolates (about a year ago).Maybe the recipe has been altered to appeal to children - which this chocolate is marketed at.Overall, I'm not convinced that children will appreciate this specific chocolate flavour any more than another non-premium brand - although it is true to say that they did actually like it. They did also like the look of the pencils as well, and found that aspect of the chocolates fascinating. In summary, I can't say that the box is worth the price shown. Realistically it should be closer to £4, and at that price I would consider it expensive but fair. Yet, I still can't convince myself that children would be getting a unique and unforgettable chocolate experience which makes it worthwhile getting these Leonidas chocolates rather than another brand.
