This is a cute bowl but smaller than I anticipated. I returned it but will keep it mind for the future.

Needs items next to it for size reference. A nice bowl, but far too small too hold anything significant.

No where near 5 inches! Maybe 3 at most! This very tiny bowl maybe the size of a very small shot glass! Due to its extremely small size, the bowl it worthless! Differently not worth $14! Before discarding it, I filled it will the soda to see how many oz it would hold. The answer, 1/3 that of a can of Pepsi! Poorly crafted!

I love the bowl, its organic looking - beautiful wood BUT the picture shows smooth edges. I don't like the roughness of the bowl edge. It should be smooth and its not but for the purpose its fine, I just wouldn't give it as a gift because my friends are way pickier than me about minutiae like that. I use it to hold the wax seal discs in my craft room. It holds about 20 of them comfortably. Keeps them contained, kind of the textbook definition of "bowl" am I right?

I almost didnt buy these because of some of the reviews about the size but i am so glad it did. They are really perfect for what I needed. I wanted a small nut serving bowl to give as a gift with some homemade candied nuts! I am very excited to give these bowls. They are approximately 3×5, hold at least a cup of almonds, and are beautifully made! Definately a win as a lovely gift. Plus...i came back are ordered 3 more for my charcuterie boards. They are perfect to serve nuts, olives, chutneys, etc!!! Really a happy customer here!
