First the downsides: the scissors were utterly useless. Luckily I didn't get it for the scissors. Also there was an oddball clipper with 45-degree cutting edge instead of a toenail clipper. There's no toenail clipper in this set-a ridiculous oversight if you ask me.The two clippers were sharp and cut well and were easy enough to use. I liked the look of it, and most of the rest of the grooming tools were useful. There was one or two which were complete mysteries as to what on earth anyone would need them for. I'd have appreciated it if they'd spent more money on making the scissors--always a useful tool--actually able to cut something, instead of coming up with 'clever' implements nobody has ever asked for. (hint: I'm never going to need to stab a fairy to death or put my own eye out.)A mostly good and good-looking purchase if you just need a cheap little gift or a little case to keep track of your nail clippers in.

The metal was a bit flimsy. I suppose that for the money it was probably a get what you pay for situation. However, it other than the cuticle tools my wife could use, the rest of the tools were not even worth me keeping. I would not recommend unless you really do need a very cheap quality travel pack.

The manicure set arrived in a padded envelope and I'm not really sure why as evidenced by the pictures the case is dented so badly that it won't even close. Tremendous force must have been exerted upon the case to bend the metal this severely. The quality of the implements visually is acceptable. The durability of the implements is yet to be seen. As time will tell I'll revisit this review and update.

More so for traveling. I am a professional nail technician. I ordered these for my boyfriend so he could have his own nail kit when I do his man's and pedi 's at home. The case and finish on the tools is nice. However the tools are small. Someone with larger hands might find it awkward getting a handle on small tools like these. Compact size is Great for travel! But I wish tools were standard size for at home use.

Let me start off with the good: the cover in which all the tools are stored is nice. It feels good quality and does the job well. The grooming tools inside are horrendous. I’m not sure was used to build the grooming tools. The metal feels very light and breakable. Very cheap feeling - for which I don’t think anyone should be paying $6.
