GREAT buy!
Durable and yet soft enough to throw. My daughter is 2 and we use this model when she watches storybots episode about the eye and also illustrate why we do not put our hands in our eyes. Terrific learning tool for any age child.

Useful for showing people about the eye
Useful for showing people about the eye, great for the price. For my uses, I like the spongy-springy feel of the material, relatively less destructible compared to some plastics.

Great Model!!!
I bought this eye model for a speech project originally but it taught me alot as well. I loved that everything was labeled and easy to read. It is truly a fantastic model of the eye, and great for any educational purpose. Definitely recommend to students and/or teachers as well. (The visual aid in my project got me an A!)

Fun models
If you’re OCD don’t buy any of these models. The models are great for my 4 year old who asked me to take out my eye so she could see what’s inside. She loves opening it up and seeing the “insides.” The reason I say not to buy if you’re OCD is because the eye does not line up perfectly and because it’s a foam type material then there are imperfections in a few places. It initially bugged me that the iris’ didn’t line up but my daughter didn’t even notice so I got over it. We have quite a few of these models and all of them have various imperfections. These are good for younger children who probably don’t care about perfection but are curious how the body works.

Not enough difference from a diagram
I teach older elementary students who are computer savvy. This foam, two-part eye model is really not much different than a diagram that is easily found online. It is nicely labeled. There is a nice booklet with interesting facts - which can be found online. I'm looking for something with more tangible parts. This goes back and I keep looking. Good: reasonable price for a teacher.
