NutraMedix Samento Tincture - Peruvian Cat’s Claw Supplement with POAs - Immune System & Microbial Support - Antioxidant, Cardiovascular, & Neurological Support - Bioavailable Extract (1oz / 30ml)

Took this for Lyme for 3 months along with Banderol. Tested my liver and kidney function during the course and GFR was off significantly. Stopped use and labs returned to normal within a month. Thankful as scared me. Did some research and found some herbs including Cat’s Claw have been identified by the National Kidney Foundation as possibly causing injury to kidneys. May be an effective product but should have a warning. Not sure if Samento or Banderol were the issue but understand one of them is Cat's Claw which is on the list of concern. Herbs can be a good thing but be cautious and watch out for yourself. Dr did not request the the labs but I ran myself as I was a little nervous. Glad I did.

I fully believe that Samento is combining with the Banderol and Burbur-Pinella to bring the increases in energetic stability, stabilizing of my body overall, and a beginning to reduced symptoms. I've been taking RSO for over a year, and that crushed the pain, but not the exhaustion and symptom flares.I WANT to do the whole Coeden protocol, but for the live of all that is good, these prices are thrashing the very sickest of people. Most of us lost our incomes after becoming sick with the Lyme complex.Just the Samento itself is so expensive that I've had go cut down my purchase ability of the RSO to move funds to Samento.They claim to grow their own herbs... Mountain Rose Herbs and a great many others do as well. That's why other companies who grow are CHEAPER and offer bulk discounts... being in charge of supply.Nutramedix is price gouging because they can. Its twisted and hateful.We need to find out of other companies are providing the same herb, and also why NOT if no one else is... for such a superior herb????Is it possible that other forms of this herb are just as safe and effective as Samento? Is that why no one else sells Samento?Also, what about the reviewers who state that their new supply is not as effective as it once was at the same tk.e that other reviewers are stating that it is low potency, or arrived corrupted?We may be sick, but Lymies tend to be the best researchers and collaborators that I know. We need to figure these things out.

When I received this product the first thing I noticed was all the instructions and words besides the main lable were in Bulgarian. No big deal for me because I've used Nutramedix Samento before, but for an English native first timer this is an issue. The next thing that struck me as odd was the extremely strong smell of what to me, smelled like rubbing alcohol or isopropyl alcohol. The last few times I've bought Cats Claw Samento from Nutramedix I never had a smell like that. Now onto the important part. I had been already using the Burbur and Pinella by Nutramedix I had ordered this year at 8 drops a day for a week with no adverse side effects or weird changes. In the past few years I have used the combination of burbur, pinella, and samento in my non caffinated tea with ZERO issues. This time around, the first day I added 2 Samento drops and the second day when I added 3 drops, I've noticed 2 major symptoms I've never encountered before with Samento - eye twitches and extreme drowsiness. My research on normal Samento side effects shows neither to be on that list. What concerns me even more is I've asked on here if the drops formula has changed and noted the potent isopropyl alcohol smell and no one can seem to give me an answer on it. Overall, I may not continue to use this particular bottle of Samento and will look into seeing what I can find elsewhere, maybe through Beyond Balance via my LLMD. I would strongly advise caution to anyone buying this product to be careful and probably test it first before using in large doses, and probably just buy it straight from the Nutramedix website instead.

My brother has been suffering with Lyme disease for over 10 years, so I ordered this for him. To say he has tried everything is an understatement, mainly because he is the most knowledgeable person in the Natural Supplement Industry I know. He is on the Governor's advisory board for Homeopathic Medicine, so he knows his stuff.In short, this is the first time that his shoulders have stopped aching and the sores on his neck have healed!! We are both in absolute shock.One Concern!! I noticed that the bottle has a temperature range that is recommended "Not to exceed 89 degrees". The second shipment came on a 100 degree day and had no ice pack. So, if it is not effective for you, then take this into consideration. I'm trying to contact the manufacturer and Amazon to find out if we can remedy this. Will update when I get an answer.

This is the only thing keeping my Lyme/?? under control. Been on it for months on and off trying other things and this combined with Banderol is go to solution. Dr Marty Ross says you can take it for prolonged periods without tolerance issues.Update Sept 2016. Price has gone up $5.60 in 3 months. I switched to Enzymatic Therapy Saventaro and after one month I can say it works just as well for me. The difference in price is .63 cents a day vs $1.13 for me.Price gouging makes me REALLY mad and I won't support a company that does it if at all possible.
