I was worried about this door, seeing its mixed reviews, but installation was straightforward, the WiFi and app integration are great. Had to set it so the dog can open it from quite a distance because the sound bothers her a little bit but that’s been no problem. Really happy with this product. Hope it lasts!

I wish we would have bought this sooner! It's so worth it, it seems expensive but trust me it's worth it! The only issue we've had is with the collars, the batteries luckily are cheaper on Amazon, but this companies customer service is amazing!

Pros:Ability to have secure entry for a larger dog if it works appropriately.My cat loves that he doesn't have to touch the door for it to open.Cons:The door is not dependable. Decides not to open, or opens by itself at least daily. I would not trust it to let my pets in while I am away. I have frequently noted one waiting inside or out and the door not reacting.The rechargable collar is unsafe. The test button is easily pushed by the dog. (Which then results in your dog being shocked if you are using the prongs- which the collar is designed to be used with 100% of the time.) Why it is even necessary to have a test button on the actual collar is unclear.No charge indicator on collars or door itself which is another reason I would never trust it to let my dogs in and out while I am not there.Separate battery sold for door no longer holds a charge at all, after 6 months (if not plugged in unit will not work)Charging for rechargable collars is absolutely a pain in the ass if you don't use the prongs on your dog already. Get with the program. They should all be micro USB. This proprietary charger garbage is fire companies who only care about getting as much money as possible from their customers.The app for the wifi door is not for certain kinds of Internet, though that is not made clear anywhere. I only found out as an alert after I downloaded the app, made a profile to log in, and went to log in. What a complete waste!!Buttons are too easy to accidently push- example, turning off the door, accidently putting it on timer, turning off one of the sensors.Door is broken after 8 months of normal use. Door needs main circuit board replaced. After paying over $1000 for the door and collars, and then cutting a hole in my house, I expect the door to work longer than 8 months.Do not buy, do not support this company's design.I will be retrofitting a regular dog door in the hole that I've cut for this door rather than replacing parts. I only continued to use it as long as I did because I spent so much money on it.Overall, I was excited about the door until it locked my dogs out while it was hot. Luckily I was only gone a short time, but it could have been life threatening had I been at work. I was much more careful with it afterwards, and only avoided issues because I am diligent about when and how I let my dogs use it. The design is not well thought out. The things above could be resolved if the company cared about making a good product. Don't waste your money.The collar design is awful

Installed it myself. Used two wall extensions because of a brick home. Works great. The collar is a little cheesy. My dog broke it coming in and out. My wife purchased the original pet tag silencer had to melt a hole were the sensor goes. So far it works great. Time will tell if it holds up.They should really make a holder for it to attach to your pets collar.Edit. The app works ok on wifi on the same network. But sucks everywhere else off network.UPDATE: Wifi does not work at all now. Have tried calling but they are open limited hours so its difficult to be at home by the door and catch them open. App does not work most of the time and when it does it takes forever. At somepoint it just deleted our door off the app and can not get it back.....waiting for a call back

Had it for 2 weeks now (medium wifi model), so far works perfect, no problem at all with wifi connection, remote controlling and schedule set up through the app, get alerts everytime my dog activate the sensor. I don't have the battery, just the plug in option.

So far so good was a a little hesitant to buy bc of poor product reviews but glad I did install was pretty painless just going through a wall is always a little tough will update reviews if anything comes up10/28/24 update door has begun to get stuck coming down forcing it to go back up it’ll do this 5-5 times before it comes down to shut will be contacting customer support for possible fix

I bought one of those dog doors that they had to push through. Dog didn’t want to do it. So I ordered this one instead that opens and closes. The door works great. My dog and cat go in and out all day. I purposely bought this one with Wi-Fi and app so I could see history and get notifications. That does not work. I email the support desk every day and they tell me to hard reset and install the door again. Doesn’t work at all. Even thought I check and the door is connected to Wi-Fi with all bars the app doesn’t recognize it so I can’t see history or get notifications. Also I put this on a door and then had to pay $110 for batteries. With the battery and no AC power the door connects to Wi-Fi for 5 minutes then you never get Wi-Fi again. So my handyman had to install an outlet next to the door so it could be plugged in all the time. Timer doesn’t work either. I have it set not to let them exit at 5pm but the key Fob still works and they go outside. So that functionality is inaccurate along with their app. I’m writing this review so all potential buyers know actually what the current status is. Hope they fix their app.

Took a few days to get used to it but now works great.
