This is amazing
We had a leak that was almost impossible to find the source but using this across the general area has stopped it completely. After 5 months (and a lot of rain) there is no signs of it failing. It’s generally very easy to use but really sticky so be careful. Much cheaper than getting a roofer out for the 3rd time!

Good stuff but......
It is really good stuff but the tin is very difficult to reseal adequately being just a normal paint tin. If you don't finish the entire contents in one go it forms a thick rubber skin within a few days that gets thicker with time. Suggest pouring a little turpentine on the surface before putting the lid back on then wrap the tin in cling film. The manufacturer really needs to address this problem as it is too expensive to waste.

Perfect for sealing flat roof
I had a leak in a flat roof covered with a bitumen roofing felt. I came across this product and it looked perfect for the job. I was not wrong, the area of the leak was around a cool wall wood burner chimney and with the heavy rain in the UK over the winter this needed addressing fast. I fired up the wood burner and had it running for about 2 hours prior to starting work. this dried up the felt area around the affected area. I heated the tin of Gorilla Waterproof Coat & Seal to make it more pliable on the edge of the wood burner - nothing too intense, just for 20 mins. I gave it a good shake and gathered the other items that were required for the job: a stick to stir with, flat head screwdriver for tin opening, a container for white spirits, white spirits, paint brush and old rag. I gave the rubber compound a mix for about 30 secs as suggested, poured it on to the area around the chimney and painted it in. I applied it generously and neatened up the edges forming a square patch around and up the chimney wall about 2inches. it was easy and straight forward, and did the job perfectly. I have bought a second tin should another coat be required. It costs about £350 to have a roofer review and fix this, and for £25 and 30 mins it was an easy fix.

Rubberised Paint Product
I purchased this as I was experiencing some rain penetration into garage.Product is easy to use, very thick and I found it easier to spread rather then paint, but it had good coverage and appears to have sealed area. Time will tell if it has worked or not.
