Vintage Brass Handle Victorian Telescope Fold able Wooden Walking Stick Walking Cane Ideal Gift

This is built like a heavy duty pool stick, that screws together in multiple pieces. It is definitely heavier and more solid that i was expecting, which is a good thing.

I'm using it for theatre, for a role as a curmudgeonly medieval king in Gilbert and Sullivan's "Princess Ida". My director wanted a knob handle for authenticity. If I were buying a cane for personal use, I would get a more ergonomic handle. (Thankfully, I don't need one yet.) This cane is well-constructed and separates into three sections for easy carrying in a tote bag. The connections are very sturdy, and you can't see the joints once it is assembled. It is heavy, which could be a concern for people frailer than I am. The decorative knob is attractive and survived a fall to a wooden floor with no sign of denting or scratching.

Came with a couple dings in the copper, nothing I can't live with. I shortened the length by cutting the lower section. Then got a different rubber foot. Cane works great.

Perfect addition to my Dickens on the Strand outfit! Cane is well made and will be usable for future events both with this outfit and others.
