as an experienced crocheter, I would not use the yarn that is in the packaging, as it to thick and rough, I would suggest Special Style Craft dk or Paint Box dk or use what you have in your yarn stash as long as it is dk, and use depending on your tension a 2.5 or 3 mm hook.(so the stuffing doesn't show through) and get some extra either sewing thread or embroidery thread. Other wise excellent product, the book is easy to read/follow even for a beginner, packaging is well done. Nice presentation.
