Love it, lack of sun is not the problem of the product

Seeing the rainbows fluttering around my kitchen just brings me joy, I loved them so much I sent some to my mom in england

I bought this one as a housewarming present for friends, they love it. I knew they would having owned three over the last 15 years or so and bought others for family as gifts. I think perhaps they're a little expensive but they do tend to last for a decade at least, so reasonable value still. In use and placed thoughtfully they'll fill your room and further with sparkles when the sun shines. You'll need replacement suckers every five years probably and it's worth removing, cleaning, going 'HUHHHHH' on the sucker and replacing the unit on the window periodically as they can fall off if left for ages. Falling can damage the crystal and the mechanism. Anyway, if you're that way inclined these will give you joy every sunny day for years and lift your spirits.

This is a fun device, when placed in direct sunlight it works as described. The several colored gears are very visible thru the clear housing and fun to watch them turn. Only downside was, even in bright direct sun, the prism light patterns are fairly faint on the walls. Definitely worth the price.

Solar powered (a replacement for the previous one which ran untroubled for over seven years before an accident caused it to fall and suffer damage which inhibited its operation), rapid-acting, this fills the room with a seemingly random array of rainbowed light-points whenever the sun shines. A delight for the old and young ("the room is full of fairies") alike. Its effect is calming, relaxing and a boon to quiet contemplation (its operation is entirely silent).

I have bought two of these for Christmas presents and neither of them twirl. I have tried contacting Gadgetsville but they don’t reply and I’ve also emailed Kikkerland as they have no customer service number

I was given one of these over 10 years ago and have it in my bedroom window. I love to wake up to rainbows dancing around my room. Unfortunately after about 3 years the suction cup failed and it fell off and broke. I mended it but it has broken again. I have just bought a replacement and it was much more expensive than the first one but equally as beautiful to wake up to.

I have a window that gets the best evening sunlight. Unfortunately, it is also a window that i like to open at times to get fresh air! This suction cup rainbow maker was the perfect solution!!! It attaches to the window with the suction cup, then, as the sun is setting, the solar panel catches the rays and makes a beautiful light show!

Bought this for a birthday giftWhen we finally tried it out, it did nothing.It does stick to the window.. but no matter how long it sits there, it does nothingI tried to get it replaced but because I'd ordered it for a birthday and then had to wait, the 30 day timeframe passed and they wouldn't do anything
