Needed the quantity for a club meeting. Did a taste test and thought they were very good. Happy that this 5 lb. Bag was available.

It’s like a taste of seaside nostalgia with every bite, and I can’t seem to stop eating it—seriously, it’s that irresistible. The flavors are absolutely spectacular, and the variety is impressive. I don't think there’s a single bad flavor in the mix; each one is as delicious as the last. The texture is perfect too—chewy, ooey, and gooey in all the right ways. It really captures that classic taffy experience and brings it straight to your door. If you’re craving a sweet treat that’ll transport you to the boardwalk, look no further. Coming from NJ and growing up on saltwater taffy from down the shore made me sceptical at first about trying this. But I'm amazed at how great all of the flavors are!! The flavors in this mix include watermelon, root beer float, green apple, banana, blue raspberry, cherry, grape, orange creamsicle, vanilla, chocolate, caramel, peppermint, cinnamon, neopolitan and black licorice!! I loved every flavor and can taste the quality. There's only two complaints I have though. The first is that the taffy is very hard!!! The way to solve this problem is by warming the taffy by holding it in your hand or putting them between your thighs to soften them with your body heat. If you don't do this first you're seriously risking ripping any fillings or crowns out of your mouth!! My second complaint is that the flavors aren't evenly distributed whatsoever!! Out of the whole 5 pound bag, I only received around 10 each of vanilla, cherry, grape and blue raspberry ☹️ Which was a bummer. So hopefully Taffy Town or Amazon will correct the issues that are causing this Taffy to be so hard and will distribute the mix of the flavors more evenly. This taffy is tasty and flavorful, and the bag size is generous it’s lasted my family quite a while. The only drawback is that two or three flavors weren’t as popular with us. I wish there was an option to customize the flavors based on preferences. This was my first time ordering such a large variety of taffy, and I’m glad I got to try them all. The least favorites in our household were the purple pink and blue ones.

I haves loved salt water taffy since I was a child. Now 78 years old , I find this incredible taffy. The peppermint flavor is divine. Packaged beautifully, so fresh and quality the Best! Just thought I would try it now I’m a customer for life however long that is.😊

I put five stars so my comment can be seen and read by others. Don’t buy this candy. It is absolutely disgusting. I paid $30 for it got it today and I ate five pieces to try the different flavors To see if it was just that piece and they were all awful. Please don’t buy this product.

Selection DOES NOT include some of the flavors advertised as being included! In the first AND in the second 80oz. bag, neither included cherry, licorice, root beer. Apparently this IS NO BIG DEAL to Amazon and/or Taffy Town since I've heard from neither one pertaining to flavors promised BUT not included. I'd rate ZERO star(s) if I could. Not on flavor(s), but, lack of flavors that I like and YET are NOT included but continue being advised as such!

I buy taffy from the local grocery store delivery, which come in 1 pound bags. I saw this 5 pound Taffy Town Taffy bag on Amazon so I decided to try it. The local taffy I buy ends up being Taffy Town taffy, since it is wrapped with the same Taffy Town wrappers. The flavors are also pretty much the same. Both the Taffy Town taffy and the local taffy have the same problem.Some pieces are poorly wrapped causing some to stick to other pieces. I took the picture of the last few pieces when I was refilling my candy jar. There was a few pieces which had to be thrown out since they had leaked so much out of their wrapper and strongly stuck to other pieces that the taffy couldn't be separated easily from the paper. I decided to take a picture of the few pieces left which are not a big deal but as you can see it was the light orange taffy that was leaking and sticking to other pieces. The taffy I buy locally also seems to have 1 flavor that is wrapped poorly as well. I will continue to buy locally though, unless Amazon has a sale since both vendors have the same problem, and the taffy I buy locally is a little less expensive. If I didn't have it available locally though, I wouldn't hesitate ordering it again. I also think it would be nice if the taffy was packaged in a resealable bag.
