Great Company, Fast Shipping, Good Quality
I want to be honest that my review is for the company and the quality of the product that was shipped. The order came without issues and the product was fresh. I had read about Salmiakki and thought I would give it a try because I like licorice. The salty taste was just not for me, which is my taste buds fault, not the brand. Anyone wishing to give Salmiakki a try or want to find a company to supply you with your favorite treat, I would encourage you to buy. I have another Fazer product coming too - Fazer Marianne Chocolate Filled Mint Candies. I know that this one will be a hit with my taste buds. And I know I will visit the Fazer store again to find other Finnish treats that I can try.

Small box that lasted a while, taste better than expected
When I heard about salmiakki, and how horrible it is supposed to be, knew I just had to try it. It's a small box, but it lasted a couple weeks even with offering some to co-workers, and after the initial shock quickly started *enjoying* these.Don't be scared away by YouTube videos of people grimacing at the taste of salmiakki and spitting it out.

Strange taste for my American tongue, but not bad
I heard about this kind of salty licorice from Sandi Toksvig on the BBC show "QI", and I've been wanting to try it for a while. It's very different from the soft, sweet licorice I'm used to, but it's not as salty as some reviews led me to expect. Overall, the salmiak salt and licorice flavors go together well. Also goes well with Coca Cola. It does leave an aftertaste for a long time. It's not unpleasant, but it's persistent.Overall, I'm happy with this purchase, and I'll probably try more Fazer products in the future.

Reasonable that it's popular in North Europe
My girlfriend from Finland bought it for me. Tastes weird at first, however, get accustomed to it after several trials and now somewhat like it.

Unique flavor you can't replicate
Several years ago I had these and loved them. Couldn't find anything in the States that was even close. Great to have them again.
