My 13 year old loves it!
We got this to help fill their summer days with something that was fun and challenging. They truly LOVED the kit. The only draw back was they felt like the controller was a little difficult to assemble and no matter what we tried all the controls do not work correctly. The gray wire won't connect correctly so the right side reverse doesn't work. I offered to try to return and they refused. They were proud of what they made and really enjoyed it. They wish it was a wireless remote.

Remote control housing is made out of cardboard which surprised me.

Did not work as expected
We built this perfectly, but something was off internally with the wires and one of the switches didn’t work. Kind of a bummer.

We've been playing with this snake robot for DAYS
Super fun build! My 8 year old was able to build the whole thing by himself and he's been playing with it for DAYS. Its super fun that it comes with multiple skins. We've never done an electronics project before and this was a fun first.

Fun STEM toy
Got this to build with my 5yo son. We had a great quality time together. He had fun at home and away from screen. I also bought the science of cooking set. Can’t wait to try that out.

Little advanced for 6years old
I read lots of good reviews on this company. Particularly this project was bit hard for the age it shown. I never bought other projects so I can’t say they’re all advanced. I want to try other projects to see. So far my kid loved loved the project
