I ordered copper masala box..but it's steel and spay painted copper. wood is also painted not natural wood as described. The wood colour is also peeling off at many places. The finish is also not good. Pictures at Amazon show different product.

The media could not be loaded. It very classy and helpful during cooking because all your spices are store in one pot. It is stainless steel so it give that shine and rust free . I got many compliments on the products. The Individual compartment fits lot of spices. I would recommend if you have various spices and you like to use on your food.

I really like the look and feel of this masala daani. It’s very stylist while serving the same level of functionality as regular masala daanis. However the quality of wood is not good. In mine the paint was chipped (see pics). Overall I like it, but wish the wood was better quality.

After watching this on Shark Tank India and reading rave reviews online, I decided to finally order this masala box. Here’s why I found it disappointing when I actually received my order -1) I received a damaged product as you can see in the pics. The lid had black marks and one of the bowls inside had marks and scratches. Honestly after the hype that this brand has created, they should’ve been more careful in shipping out the product. I mean at least do a proper quality check!2) The box is sooooo heavy. Not handy at all.3) still don’t know why it doesn’t come with a spoon, especially given the cost we are paying for this.4) it’s definitely expensive compared to other market products and this honestly is not as unique as they portray it to be.5) the bowls inside do not take up the entire space of the wooden box which means they have enough room to keep moving and ultimately spilling the masalas we fill in it. Which adds up to frequent cleaning. Which in turn leads to just more work.So yes I decided to return it and my search for a good masala dabba is still on!
