First thing I have to say is thank you ! Who would have thought something that us parents, now grandparents have struggled with for years. Something so simply designed could literally eliminate such frustration by both parents and children. I've read a lot of the reviews and I've yet Read one that talks about how it can literally save a life. A kid gets left in a hot car, car accident , parents cannot get to the child, rescue workers can't get to the child with all the doors locked, car is submerged in water, on fire. But with this release mechanism a child could get himself out of a helpless situation. I saw how my very independent 4-year-old grandson was so frustrated that he could not get himself out of his seat . So I Googled and bought one for the car seat in my car and then I went back and bought two more one for each of his parents vehicles. Now I'm buying two more for other family members. I would love to see them made in a glow in the dark option for safety purposes. And yes although we are all equipped with them I will buy more if and when glow in the dark is available and donate the original ones to friends and other family members with little ones.

This item works, but after you hook it to the bottom it barely reaches the Red Dot. I wasn't able to get my granddaughter out of her car seat before, but I can with this, so it does work, it's just not as easy as I thought it would be

I bought this for my granddaughter to get out of her car seat on her own. It is easy to use even for a 5 years old. This tool gives her independence. I recommend!

A very much needed item that will help our child be more independent. We did a practice run and he was beyond excited that he can now unbuckle himself completely. Installation was a slight struggle for my wife but it just needed to be wiggled around. The functionality was exactly as described and the size of the product is not bulky or in the way. Good purchase.

The product works well... However, my extremely sensory sensitive five year old does not like the "bulky touchy" feeling touching her legs from the center buckle. It's unavoidable, but something to consider before purchasing.

If I could get these more stars, I totally would! Some of the greatest things I’ve just recently, I wish they were a little cheaper, but I do love supporting a small business. The functionality is so easy that my own five-year-old can do it himself! Which is great because we just had our third kid and he is now in the backseat of the van. We do trust him and we have talked a lot about when he can and cannot use this.I also have my thumbs a lot, and this is a huge lifesaver, so I spend less time wearing a brace. Plus, I always wanted to have longer nails, but I was afraid they would crack or if I did the glue on ones they would pop off every time I do the car seat. I’m so excited to have some self-care and definitely recommend this product to any and all parents!

Great buy for older toddlers that understand when it’s appropriate to take off their seat belts on their own. I love that you can easily remove them if needed can continue to use them on other car seats if needed.

This is my favorite baby product! It's super durable, easy to install, and amazing to use. My child can easily get out of her seat, and I can unlatch my kids without all of my nails breaking. I also like that it can easily be removed if you don't want to use it all the time. My child said it does not feel uncomfortable on their seat.
