CHAUVET DJ SlimPAR Pro Q USB RGBA LED Low-Profile Par/High-Power Wash Light

We used this to replace an older Q series fixture that died. As a result we got an upgrade since this includes Amber LEDS as well. The bails also are better set up for placing them on the floor and will lock into the correct position. You no longer have to tighten the knobs at just the right spot. The lumens were just what we expected and match our existing Q’s.

These fixtures are top quality a step up for the legendary chauvet slim par 56, this fixture is housed in a metal case, brighter than your standard SlimPAR, colors are more define , can be controller with the chauvet irc-6 wireless remote, and linked up in dmx mode without the use of dmx cables but with the Chauvet DJ Di-Fi USB wireless transreceiver using any of wireless controllers by chauvet or from your smartphone with the D-Fi Huband Flarecon.

Very nice par substitution, but it would be nice to be able to program a specific color and use DMX for brightness only.

We have been using eight of these instruments in our small theatre company, usually on trees and they have consistently worked very well for us. We've used them indoors and outdoors in dozens of performances and rehearsals, always having them on for 4-6 hours at a time.I'm buying four more of them now and had a question. I didn't see any place to post questions, so I'm making it part of my review.The photos show two different back panels of the lights. One has standard US computer plug (C-13), and the other shows standard theater lighting plugs (PowerCON). Which one is it?

You get banding when you dim the light. A real bummer because the lights are otherwise phenomenal. Very bright!So 0 stars for video, but 5 stars if you don't need it for video. I will have to return mine unfortunately.
