Readability is amazing!
I was debating between the Topaz and the Turquoise. I was also hesitant to buy because I thought the Bible was going to be rather large and I would need to place it on a table to read. I'm really glad I purchased it, as it's a joy to read from and I can hold it in my hands to read. I'm a female and I would say I have regular/small hands. The cover is so soft, nice and floppy and it smells rather nice.

Do not purchase this Bible if you are expecting it to be the quality they claim.
This overpriced nonsense went right back. The Goatskin cover was so thin, cheap and stiff and no this bible doesn't lay flat at all. I mean seriously, I've been purchasing high end books including bibles since the 90's and I couldn't believe how cheaply this was made. The paper felt really cheap too and there is absolutely no weight to it. I thought the box was empty when it arrived yesterday, and I did spend quite a bit of time reviewing it. Enough to know that Cambridge bibles are not what they say they are. The term overpromise and under deliver comes to mind. I haven't been this disappointed is over a decade. Shame on you Cambridge for chagrining over $242.00 for this Bible, with a ridiculous MSRP of $350.00 forThis bible. In my honest opinion after purchasing several Thomes Nelson bibles and always more than satisfied, The Cambridge Topaz bible is maybe worth $55.00 and even then I feel I'm being generous. I didn't even know you could cut Goatskin so thin and cheap paper. The stiffest bible I've ever purchased.
