Lensmate Thumb Grip for Sony a6500 (Also fits a6400 & A6300) - Black

Like the product for extra support and handling of my pair of Sony Alpha a63000. Eliminates need of battery grip for extra grip, and saves travel weight and bulk. Well designed and functionality value.

It works well for the Sony A6400 camera. The camera is pretty light and small compared to other full frame camera and does add a small bit of added extra confidence when handling the camera when taking pictures and making adjustments for ISO, Focus, and Aperture settings. But for the whopping price, it is way too expensive. It should half the cost. Try to find it used before paying 50$ plus on this item.

looks good, feels comfortable, works well, well made.

First up, the $60 is painful. It feels about $20 over priced, however, I had no choice but to get this one, as many of the other options are either too short or dont offer a swing out arm, Fotodiox have their own version which is not suitable for my needs, as I have an armature cage thing for other bits of equipment and the vertical swing just does'nt fit with that gear in place. I do understand that its a small business deigning and making small run product, and probably have a team they have to pay for that excellence, but that extra $20 just feels like a cash grab. Also, I hoped it was Brass, but its not its some other metal, maybe Alu or Zinc.

Good build quality. But it’s highway robbery to charge $60. This is a $30 item TOPS.

This is a keeper. I'm upgrading from A6300 to A6400 and will keep this accessory. Comments about the price are not considering this grip has a hinge where most other vendors do not have the hinge.

The Lensmate line of thumb grips is top of the line, and leads the class of machined accessories, both in fit and finish. In addition, the machined part is precisely coated, engraved, and outfitted with comfort thumb and dial pads. Would buy it again, but hopefully I won't have to!
