I bought a broken powered sub woofer. Discovered that the fuse holder was the actual broken part. I went to several local venues and could not find this type of holder. Most replacements were about $6. Found this set of 5 + fuses for a great price; about $1 each. Perfect fit. reported dimensions were spot on. Sub works great now. $5 broken sub, $1 part, a little work = new toy. Or maybe flip it for $20?

The fuse holder is easy to install. However the side connection tab and soldered wire make it hard to place the mounting nut on its threaded neck.

Couldn’t find a fused replacement power cable for a Vornado fan, so I attached one of these to the fan housing and wired a new power cable to it in order to achieve the same protection.

If you are wiring and using the standard size male/female slide together connectors then the connectors on these are about half the regular size. I ended up using an more modern auto fuse holder and went down to a 10 amp fuse instead of the 13 that was recommended and it works fine.

I used it for my snowmobile fule guage wire to replace the factory cheap sno together type that always seemed to get moisture inside. This holder has a nice screw top and has alot of nice tension on the fuse.

With how small the terminals were, I had to solder the connections (I'm an auto tech that installs car electronics, doing a side project) because there are hardly any connectors that size; and I had to do a really precise job or the side terminal connection was too big for the hole diameter the housing was made to go in. Other than that it works fine.
