Great product, super durable and works as advertised.
I am not a crazy cyclist, but have been biking close to 100 miles a week. I noticed my feet kept slipping while changing gears and when hitting bumps etc. I wanted something cheap and easy to keep my feet on the pedals. These clips worked perfectly.I read other reviews about not fitting and something to do with a small steel plate not fitting either. Wasn’t sure if they would fit but looked at my pedals and it seemed like the two small holes would line up pretty close to where the mounting holes on the clips were. I ordered them hoping for the best.Turns out, they fit perfectly. The mounting hardware was the proper length and all I had to do was line up the mounting holes and install. For added security, I did add a small washer on the same side as the screw head, but I don’t think it is required. After a few rides, they align my feet on the pedals nicely. Not too far forward and right on the balls of my feet. They really keep my feet nice and snug but not like a full clip so I can easily slide my foot out at stop lights if need be. I have never used full clip in pedals so I can’t speak to them helping with the “upstroke” or the pulling up style of cycling but they are very secure and the plastic is nice and beefy.I would definitely recommend these as a cheap middle ground before getting into a full clip-in style pedal and shoe. Easy installation and works exactly as advertised. I would simply caution the user to make sure your current pedals have the small holes near the front to mount.

Foot stabilizer
Since I installed this item on both peddles I have had zero foot slippage. It does take a bit of getting used to because you need to pull your foot out before dismounting or you’ll fall. Also, the site doesn’t say how many are in the package, but they come as a pair (two per package) so I ended up buying two pair. However, I’m enjoying the peddles and they were easy to install, just a little drilling. Better than clips if you ask me.

Does the job well
This is very easy to install. Not sure if I got the correct size or not. It definitely does not seat flush with the pedal. But it works, hold the toes of the shoes pretty good. It also easy to flip and insert shoes while riding after stopping at the traffic light or similar situation. It's not as nice as the steel one I used to have on my other bike, but it works.

Fine clips, durable, awkward foot position
I got these for my daily commuter. I can't say that they've improved my ride immensely.I find that these clips are a bit too deep. What I mean by that is if I position my foot so that my toe touches the front of these clips, I find my foot is a bit farther forward on the pedal than I would naturally place it. Typically you want the ball of your foot positioned over the spindle of the pedal. I wear a size 10.5US men's shoe, and I can imagine that if my foot was any smaller, this would be a bigger issue. It's a bit better when I wear my winter boots instead of sneaker, but only because I can't go as far forward.I wouldn't get these clips if you're looking to add power. They flex a good bit on the upstroke. If you want power without going to clipless pedals and special shoes I'd recommend straps that can be adjusted to be snug on your foot.I find benefit with these pedals when I'm biking on wet roads when my foot might otherwise slip from the pedals. They do a good job of keeping my foot on the pedal. I probably get a little extra power, maybe +10%, but as mentioned above, if you're not focusing on your stroke, you can easily lose any of this extra power to the flex of the clip. These are durable for sure. I know this because they hang low enough to scrape any time my foot isn't in the clip. Despite a few months of this, they seem to be in good condition still and don't look like they're breaking anytime soon.Overall, they're fine. I'm finding more benefit in the wet and snowy winter. Not great for adding power to your stroke, but do a good job of keeping your foot on the pedal without feeling trapped in there.

Wonderful! Keeps feet in place, smoothly slips over shoe laces
I mounted these foot fenders on a traditional "ratrap" pedal. The pedal had a flat front surface for mounting reflectors, necessary for mounting a foot fender there instead. The pedal and foot fender replaced a platform pedal with traditional toe clip with strap, that actually was too short for my foot.I'm delighted with the change! The foot fender continues to keep my feet properly positioned on the pedals, but is longer than my previous pedal setup so my feet are comfortable again when riding. My usual shoe size is European 43.Also the foot fender does NOT catch the laces on my shoes like my old pedal setup did. It's a joy to simply flip the pedal up, push my foot in and GO!I did try a pair of Ergotec EP1 pedals before getting the foot fenders. That pedal is also very comfortable and fits ANY shoe, no danger of the rattrap damaging the soles. It also has a reflector both front and back. However my foot felt a little lost with no "clip" guidance. It looks like if I can find a narrow enough pedal reflector, there's room to install that under the foot fender.I'm most comfortable riding my other, newer, lighter bike with SPD clips and shoes. But when I don't want the extra weight of having to bring along unclipped shoes, my old bike with the foot fenders gives me more footwear options.Note, riders not used to toe clips, will still need to learn to flip up the pedal when taking off, when using these foot fenders.I gave "durability" only four stars because already I can see light scratches on the foot fenders outside toe area from dragging on the road occasionally as I'm mounting the bike. Same problem as when using toe clips. I have no suggestions for improving this situation, except to be more careful when getting on the bike.

Love it. Perfect for the non-hardcore
Bought the unit solely because I did not want to purchase specialized foot gear and mounts.I have a hybrid bike that I use mostly on road and in suburban streets. I just want to use my running shoes to go for long walks at times so bought this as add way to get more power transfer when pedalling. They do a great job and your shoes easily mount and dismount. They are also very sturdy. Over all great for people that do not have a need to go hard core but still see the value of having pedal mounts.

They do the job
Having not got on with clipless pedals and shoes due to the danger of not being able to clip out in a fast stop situation I bought these and they do the job . Yes they look a bit naff but it beats falling under a bus clipped in

love it!
Klappt also!

The don't easily fit my pedals. Going to have work something out to get them to fit.
