I like that there is not a presevitive sugar sheen on this jerky, it taste and smells fresh off the pit, although I wish there was more ginger flavor on the garlic ginger flavor, other than that this is perfect jerky❤😃🔥👏

I am in my 70s and have eaten a lot of jerky in those years. Some excellent, some good, some ok & some horrible. I must say People's Choice is with out a doubt at the top of the list.

Sweet Chili Habanero was overly sweet for me. The heat is there in the background and it hits you after you swallow. Whatever is used to sweeten it has a gritty texture (at least on this batch) and I thought it was too sweet. I ended up putting some habanero hot sauce on it to cut the sweetness. The pieces of jerky are pretty long, too. You have to commit to that one piece lol.

I love any type of beef jerky, meat sticks, biltong etc. But, i can honestly say i absolutely hated this brand. Its gross. Its coated in sugar like its candied. My friend bought me a bag after i tried the sweet habanero and hated it. Second flavor i tried was peppered. Both were the same horrible taste. They literally hurt my stomach, not from heat but just how gross they are. I never in a million years thought i could hate even the worst beef jerky, but sadly i do. This also has a good amount of hugs fatty chunks still on it. That may add to the disgust element for me. Bronco Billys is really good and approximately the same price point. One bad review said it was too hot, I disagree about the heat. The level was just right but the flavor was just terrible.

If you enjoy garlic and ginger then these are for you. The taste is really great. This brand of jerky tends to be a bit more dry and rough on the teeth, but after you chew it for a bit, all the while enjoying that flavor, these are truly lovely. If I could ask for anything to change with this jerky it would be that it was a touch softer.

I brought a bag on a family vacation and the eight of us polished off the bag in a day. My daughter doesn't usually like beef jerky but even she was sneaking in for more. The flavor was outstanding. It wasn't an overpowering garlic flavor or too underwhelming. Complimented the meat nicely. The texture was more on the dryer side so your jaw will get a workout, but it wasnt so dry that it needed rehydrating. I do love softer jerky but this may have converted me.
