Update 11.14.23 I loved the first one so much about a second fan for my other bathroom.The fan is extremely quiet and the light is great. I had and electrician install the unit, because I did not have a preexisting unit. There are two led bulbs included. I prefer the bulbs because if one goes out, I only have to change the bulb not the entire unit. I also installed a fan timer, which works great.

I've installed hundreds of things around the house but I think this was the first fan I installed. It's not too difficult, but a few things to keep in mind. The fan screws into a stud on one side only and the stud needs to be fairly deep and correctly positioned. My ceiling was close to my stud, so only 2 out of the 4 screws went in (the other two were past the edge of the stud) so I added a stud on the other side of the fan for support. However, even without the 2nd stud, the fan is lightweight enough that crazy support isn't necessary.Of course, the fan only blows in one direction and this is not adjustable, so wherever the stud is, the fan will blow how it's positioned. If you want it the other way, you'll need a different stud. Also, wear gloves. There's a (mostly useless) black air diverter covering up some very sharp metal. Cut hands are a guarantee.Wires were well labeled and everything worked the first time. However, this is ABSOLUTELY NOT a quiet fan. It is a regular, everyday, ordinary, bathroom fan sound. Nothing more. Nothing less.The lighting is good, and comes with 2 LED bulbs with temperature switches, which is kind of cheesy but also kind of ingenious. Most LED lights, especially for a bathroom, would have a built in light. This way the light is more even and brighter without being concentrated in spots. But of course replacing and adjusting built in lights can be impossible. So in this case these are nice, but the downside is you can see 2 bulb light spots through the glass. The upside is that if the light is too bright or too dim, you can easily replace these included bulbs.The warnings on the fixture are a bit excessive and unnecessary, most people know the glass comes on and off with a twist, no glowy red sticker thing that makes it look bad is necessary to remind us. But in general, the fan is nice. It is fine. But it's not a huge upgrade to an existing fan.

We purchased this exhaust fan with light for our 1/2 bath when we were updating recently. Very pleased with the fan and not to loud which I like.

The fan and light are nice bit the ultra quiet is not true. It's very loud.

Product arrived with broken glass. By the time my electrician opened the box to install, it was outside of return window.UPDATE- new glass for light was sent right away at no additional cost. 5 stars earned.
