Saved my cat
My cat is 15 with Kidney Disease. While her kidney levels were okay, her calcium levels were bad and she became severely anemic. I was going to put her down when my neighbor suggested try to find an iron supplement. At that time, the emergency vet suggested a blood transfusion which was $2500 (quoted); I can't afford that right now. My cat is 15, I was thinking it's time for end of life care. The next week I made sure she wasn't in any pain when my neighbor suggested the supplement. I found this one and read through almost all of the reviews. I figured I might as well try it. I started giving my cat the recommended doses, within 2 days my cat was eating again and moving around normally. She bounced back so fast, I was shocked! She's been on it for almost 2 weeks now but I've dropped to half a dose as her poops are hard and she struggles. I think the full dose is giving her constipation so I dropped to half a dose and it seems to be working just fine now. I do have a vet visit tomorrow to go over what is happening and if I should continue with the supplement or not. But it saved my cat, she's feeling a lot better and she is back to her "normal" self.I do recommend this product, but I would also recommend going to the vet to see if your pet should be staying on the supplement long term.

It worked with my cat
I mixed it with my cat’s wet food and my cat ate the entire dish with no problem. He can be picky, though.

Picky kitty will take it!
My very picky kitty doesn't mind the taste at all. I mix it in with a churu and he eats it every time. I started with a low dose and gradually raised it. I think the higher doses caused a little constipation so I lowered it again. I will try to increase the dose again to see if that was really what caused his constipation or not. Good product though.

My cat doesn't know !!
My cat doesn't know the supplement is in his food . The Iron tonic from the vet, was very difficult to give my cat. He would swing his head when I was trying to give it to him and get sticky smelly iron smell all over What I did get in him, he would vomit up.With this I just mix in his food and he seems to be okay with it and he is a picky eater. I started slow and slowly increased it. Works best and blends in best using a gravy based food. Pate food harder to mix in.

My dog liked it and got better!
My poor old dog has had lots of health issues lately & hates taking pills but also seems to dislike most non pill forms of things, but I saw this & decided to try it. He loves it and takes it in the syringe by squirting in the side of his mouth (kind of messy), licking it up alone or on top of his food. I can’t say that about any other supplements I’ve tried for him. He gets anemia due to liver and intestinal issues and taking this a few times a week keeps him feeling good and the anemia at bay. It does seem to run out quickly, but it’s a good price and at least he’s actually taking it so we’ll stick with it. I thought caramel was an odd flavor for dogs, but he seems to love it! For reference he’s a 35 pound male cocker spaniel, 14.5 yrs old and he takes 6ml 3 times a week average, and that’s been enough to keep the anemia away.
