I'm peri-menopausal which means I not only no longer have a 'regular, every 28 days' cycle, but the length and 'severity' of my cycle is now completely unpredictable. To help with this, I have an arsenal of various Playtex products: a box of Regular / Super (my period just got here) tampons, a box of Super Plus (God I don't want to go to work today) tampons, and a box of Ultra (heaven help me if I sneeze in public) tampons.They're all super comfortable to insert and they're all great no matter which absorbency level I happen to need. On some days, I need a back-up liner or pad (at bedtime, usually) but that isn't the fault of the tampons, it is my stupid period trying to make me anemic.I can't believe I've dealt with 'that time of the month' for over 30 years now. I can't wait to not need any of these products, but in the mean time I will only buy and use the Playtex brand. It is the only brand that I can rely on for adequate protection.

I’m a 25 yr old woman who only started using tampons maybe a year or two ago. I’ve been trying various brands to see which accomplish my needs the best and which are the best for my body (the extra chemicals these brands add SUCK! Stop it please.) I’ve tried 2 organic brands, Tampax, Kotex and Playtex Sport. My favorite brands thus far have been Tampax and Playtex. I was a loyal Tampax user until some of their recent decisions. I decided to try Playtex Sport as these are marketed to be the best for those who are active or like to move around a lot and these did not disappoint. I also really like the applicators (they’re my favorite next to Tampax’s). Very smooth and easy to use compared to some brands. Didn’t experience ANY type of leaking until about 6-7 hrs in which I normally change it out by this point anyways. The shape works great for my anatomy. It gets the job done compared to some of the other brands out there that claim to be Super Plus and leak within 3 hrs. Playtex Sport may very well become my new favorite and I would purchase again. My only gripe is the unnecessary chemicals but this isn’t just a Playtex thing. Shipping was also good, no issues there. We don’t care if the tampons are white, we just care if they work and are safe! Stop adding the unnecessary chemicals please.
