My 2 little turtles really love this! It's like a jungle gym for them. They swim around under it, bask on the top platform, and like to climb and park on the ramps. A great purchase for your little guys!

When I got this initially, I was concerned, as the item was dirty with smudges apparent on the white and the pieces come with no instructions to follow. Construction is pretty fine, as long as you use the picture on the box for reference. It comes with a little screwdriver for assembly aid and some black object I'm not sure what it was needed for. I know this was for turtles, but I figured this would also work as a platform for my hermit crabs, as it seemed it would accommodate them. While I wasn't wrong, I wouldn't recommend this platform by itself. My hermit crabs seemed to struggle to climb and crawl upwards just for themselves. I recommend lots of netting and climbing toys to put on the platform so they have more traction and ease of climbing/maneuvering. I'll be adding more netting to complement the ladder I have already placed up there. But I do love how it has a great hiding spot at the very bottom my shy guys can seek refuge underneath whenever they please. All in all, this product is not worth its price tag, it looks very cheap and tacky, and the cleanliness of the items is a joke. While I have made this work for my hermit crabs, I couldn't imagine getting this for anyone as a gift, despite what pet this would be for.

My turtle likes it. She's growing pretty fast so she's almost too big for it. It really needs more than one suction cup though.

My turtle now basks daily due to having a ramp instead of a wall or floating dock, so points for that. Accumulates dirt like nobody's business. I suggest including a bottle brush or the like. Suction cup fails if my turtle tries to bully the dock

My small red eared sliders love this platform! It's a great size for the little ones. Not sure how it would work for larger ones. I've seen 3 of my little ones basking at the same time. There's also room for them to swim and hide under it. Easy to put together and clean.
