Louisiana Grill Founders Series Premier 1200 Pellet Grill (LG12000FP)

First off, thank the Lord my son was visiting. Not that complicated but heavy. That’s a good thing.

This is the worst product on this planet. The design had many problems and it does not function. Ever since the first day it arrived I have had problems with it. As often as I worked on it, it still doesn't work due to its terrible design.

Wanted to look at Traeger and Green Mountain for a pellet grill. Went to a Mom and Pop local store to look at all of the options. Between Traeger, Green Mountain, Grills, Pit Boss, Big Green Egg, Z grills, and after talking to the store owners and inspecting each one, we decided on this grill. Very happy with it. The first thing I noticed when opening the cover was how thick the metal was on this one, compared to all the others. Double the thickness! This grill temp. goes up to 600 degrees and also has a lever to open the plate up on the bottom for searing steaks. Also, all of the shelves on it come with the grill, and you don't have to buy those separate like Traeger. I also liked the looks of it. As far as looks and well built construction, this and the Green Mountain are the best in this price range. The only con I can think of is the Louisiana Grill App is actually from Pit Boss and it doesn't have any audible alarms to tell you when your probes or grill temp. is at the temp. you need it to be. But, It does lower the temp. down to warm when your meat temp. reaches the desired temperature that you set it at.
