I was not expecting these to be of the quality they were when I ordered them. These are really nice for costume boots! I wore these for 4 consecutive days at our VBS for about 6 hours each day and most of that time on my feet! They were great! I wear a size 10 1/2 or 11 shoe and the medium boot was just the tiniest bit small with a pair of work socks on. With a pair of thinner socks, they fit just fine. There was no sign of wear in the material after the 4 days of wear either. I expected cracking or checking in the "leather" but they did not. Keeping these for future pirate adventures. Ahoy!

These look great! Decent quality and my husband said they were very comfortable. Perfect for the Gasparilla Parade. We walked alit and the boots held up well.

The boots themselves are great. The quality vs price is excellent. The only problem I had, and it's a big one, is the sizing. A lot of reviews said to order a size up, and wear thicker socks if needed. So I ordered the XL, which lists as size 11-12, thinking that would be perfect. However, as you can see in the photo, XL is a US size 14, not the 11-12 that the product description lists. My feet were swimming in these even with insoles and thick socks. If they could get the sizing right, these would be nearly perfect for the money. They'll be going back to Amazon, not sure whether I'll order again since I have no idea what size to order.

Well-made, great costume piece. A costume investment - in addition to using with a pirate costume, it could also be used with a Pilgrim costume or Renaissance costume.

They are very nice, the leather is a little cheap so might not get the renfaire use we normally put our boots through. But the style and overall look is great! These are for my husband, he wears a size 10.5 mens. We were unsure of the sizing, there is no help in description, I got him a size Medium 10-11. He says they fit perfect but I feel they look slightly small. Possibly because I am not used to him wearing a point toe. Either way he is happy with them!

I'm a US Size 13 Wide. Been trying to find reasonably priced boots that fit these skis I call feet. Took the advice of another reviewer and ordered a size up. The 14-15 size fit my feet perfectly. Not a lot of breathing room on the sides, but plenty of room for my Tarzan-Toes.Overall a comfortable fit that looks fantastic! Boots zip up and fit around my tree trunk calves without issue. You won't be hiking Everest in these things, but you could conceivably be on your feet all day without dying.At first blush I can say that highly recommend. I'll edit this later if they prove problematic.

As you can see in the photo, these size 12 men’s fit perfectly! I ordered them one size larger since my experience with ordering online makes me think items are usually smaller than expected, and I can always put socks in to take up the extra space if they are too large.But the quality is amazing. The faux leather looks and feels just like real leather. The buckets are adjustable. I put some inserts in to take up the slight extra space and now I can Halloween all night! These will last for years.

Excellent value overall! Short of acquiring an actual period boot or commissioning one to be made for, presumably, a considerable sum, this is an excellent choice for an authentic look that is well made and affordable.Pros:*The look and finish is great! Love the textured/embossed design, the buckles, turned down upper. The color is not a true black but an incredibly deep black.* Durability: They held up beautifully, better than expected, with zero issues for a full day on the streets of Oakland. Absolutely no visible wear and tear. I believe they will last for years of costume events.*Sole: The soft rubber sole provides solid, non-slip footing. Not one slip, through a whole day of walking on a plethora of different surfaces.*Easy to put on/remove with full length inside zippers.*100% man-made materials/no leather/no animals harmed.Cons:*Fit: This is all that prevented 5 stars. Per size chart, Large = 12/13, Med = 10/11. I wear an 10.5 or 11 in most shoes. With these boots, I the Med/10/11 was absolutely at least one size too small for any amount of walking/standing and the Large/12/13 was a size too big but was my choice - I wore 2 pair of thick socks to make it work. Obviously, they need a fit one size in between to accommodate.
