Wow great taste. Took a long time to find these. Excellent buy. We keep and buy two cases one beef and one chicken. Quick meals.Try throwing a 1/2 can of chili beans over the top.

Good for emergency
I wanted some canned chicken products to put away for emergencies and these tamales are perfect. I give 4 stars because the sauce is not the best with a very tomato taste. It is almost like straight tomato paste. The tamales are good for a fast easy meal. It has a long expiration time which is the best thing.

Not like the cans of tamales from my childhood
The tamales were ok as far as taste. And the sauce is ample. Which leads me to my main complaint- the can was over half full of sauce. My childhood memories of the can of tamales was mostly tamales- standing side by side in the can and nice and straight as would be expected. This can had a few bent over tamales. Quite a drop in quality. And a disappointment.
