Just after around 34 days in, I thought I'd go for a swim. What a mistake. This watch hasn't stopped vibrating since. No matter what you do, it vibrates like crazy. Its got a swim activity tracker, but then again, you cant go for a 10-15 min swim. I've been sold a lemon. Very sad and disappointed.Further, if you are like me an under warranty you can have the watch replaced, but to ship it to Hong Kong from Dubai will cost you over 700AED and you will only be reimbursed for $20. Now, it has stopped vibrating but won't stay on and the buttons don't work. Its a dud. Confirmation received from TicWatch is that you cannot bath or shower with the watch, which I've only ever done like 2 times with the watch but this is not allowed. My experience is that you also cannot swim even once with the watch else it breaks. TicWatch has indicated in their response that no saltwater pools are allowed, no showers, no baths (basically it comes down to "don't put it in water" in my opinion). Look, lets be honest here. Regardless of Cholorine, Salt or even rain falling, the watch is just not waterproof - mine isn't. I have many watches being IP68 certified and the condition for IP68 is "An IP68 rating means a device can survive against dust and up to 1.5 metres of water for 30 minutes". Non of my watches has a problem with water, only my TicWatch which has freaked out and shivers when it comes close to water. In my case, 10-15 minutes was too long for it and returning it is just not worth the effort. It will cost you more. I simply cannot recommend this brand or this watch if you are looking for a waterproof watch.
