Do not buy
This device is trash but not because it’s light weight or cheaply made. Other reviews are saying it’s cheap and flimsy. Yes it sort of is on the cheap feeling end but not so cheap that is dollar store toy cheap feeling. However as for a microcurrent device this will do nothing. Microcurrents are more like a tens or e stim device. You may be familiar with an a belt that electrically works the muscle into flexing and essential working it out. That’s sort of what a micro current device would cause you to feel on your face but not the exact same technology. Your muscles will move uncontrollably and twerk essentially or get jolted around. Around the eye area it would twitch while the current is being applied. Which is why you use conducting gel. However this device feels more like galvanic current. As the electricity goes into the skin and is intended to maximize absorption of products and other various things for the skin but not the muscles. This device can’t possibly help muscles at all. The muscles are effected by microcurrent to prevent jowls or drooping of the cheeks like a bull dogs face. Or sagging as we age around the eyes forehead neck ect. It keeps things tightens up and where we want them. This feeling the device puts out is more like sharps pins and needles sticking into you and burning in an electrical way. Not your muscles being tones.Galvanic devices are available and marked correctly to purchase. And the don’t feel as painful and sharp as this one does. I went for this one because of the applicator tips being so small and easily fitting around the eyes and lips and eyebrows. As most microcurrent devices have massive balls ends that glide along the face but not so much the eyes.Do not buy this device even if you think you should. I also can’t imagine it lasting for more than a couple months before no longer functioning. Also it’s battery operated. Very strange since all others either plug into a wall for spa quality devices and the others charge like anything else does these days.

Love it
I have all the devices from NuFace to Foreo. I’ve ordered another microcurrent device per Amazon before I thought was amazing. However, this device is so powerful and for a fraction of the cost!! I recommend if you’re looking for a refreshed youthful look order yours today. I’m a woman in her late 30s who resembles a woman more in there late 20s. I use all sorts of skin care and devices, so take it from me you won’t be disappointed!

Make sure you have a gel handy
This microcurrent facial device looks like the Mantis, from Guardians of the Galaxy, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I expected it to USB charge, but it uses 2 AAA batteries. That likely reduces the device cost, so happy to provide batteries for a more affordable option. What I wasn’t excited about was finding out I needed to have a conductive gel to use. Yes, I should have read more carefully, but even upon reading, I couldn’t tell what gel would work, in case I had some handy, so I had to Google to identify a short term solution. It would make much more sense to include a sample gel with the device so it could be used immediately without concern. For readers, I used Aloe Vera After Sun Gel and it seemed to conduct just fine!I’ve never had another microcurrent facial, but this one was so nice. The tingling felt wild at first, and near my nose and eye it made me twit h a but once I knew what it felt like, it did become more massage-feeling than weird. I can’t tell if it’s working or not just yet- only a single session, but I do believe it isn’t hurting!Recommend, just be prepared with batteries and gel. ❤️

Use if your into micocurrent therapy
I’m sure if you enjoy microcurrent therapy then this is your device. For me the current pulse was a unusual stimulation, the reason why I return the device.

Strong current
So far this works very well. As good as some of the more expensive products out there for a third of the price.

Stopped working after first use
Do not purchase this product if you want to use it more than once. It is cheaply made. On the first use, it lasted five minutes and then shut down. It hasn’t worked since then.

Not for me
I’ve seen a lot of buzz around microcurrent facials and immediate results. Since I recently noticed my crows feet and some forehead wrinkles becoming more prominent I jumped on the trend. I don’t know that it’s the product, but it wasn’t for me. On level 1 I felt nothing on level 2 it was mildly painful. My husband tried it with his slightly higher pain tolerance, and said it was just tingly. The instructions said I’d see immediate results, but I didn’t. It also said a session should be 20 minutes starting out, but it has an auto shutdown at 15 minutes? It didn’t shut down at 15 minutes (I put on a timer), but did eventually shut off around the 20 minute mark. If you like long sessions that would be annoying. My problem is 5 minutes felt like a boring eternity with the gel drying on my face. My husband took over and also felt like the sands of time had stopped, he loaded up the gel so it didn’t dry out- but I was covered in sticky gel which is a nightmare for me. I think if I wanted to give it another try I’d get a professional facial, if you already know you like it and what type of results you typically get I could see how this would save you money. For me the lack of results immediately and discomfort were enough of a deterrent I won’t be using it again.
