Meets my needs best so far
This is a Brutal Review. What I seek is a lightweight, bendable, fabric-like, folio flap-case for the MS SP8 like Apple has for its iPads. That way, an end user who wants to use an SP8 like a tablet can easily attach that flap-cover to the SP8's magnetic port, which is also used for attaching the MS SP8 keyboard currently available. That’s not available at the time of this writing. Instead, each of the following is. My respective impressions thereof follow.1. “Dadanism Case for All-New Microsoft Surface Pro 8, Durable PU Leather Lightweight and Slim Shell Cover Fits Surface Pro 8 Tablet 2021 Release, Black": Cheapest - $21.95 as of this writing - and worst of the set. The SP8 slid about after properly situating it in this case.2. "Omnpak Microsoft Surface Pro 8 Case,Multi-Angle Slim Lightweight Protective Cover with Stylus Pen Holder for 2021 Surface pro 8 13 Inch ,Compatible with Type Cover Keyboard(Keyboard Not Included)”: Most expensive ($29.90), bulky, and heavy of the lot. Also the most sturdy, however. The SP8 didn’t want to budge when inside this. The exterior color and texture are excellent. Its magnetic closure flap sticks well. N.B. this case does not rely on the SP8’s hinge mechanism to tilt the SP8 when propping it up in landscape mode. It instead has the SP8 rest at an angle upon the case’s felt-like interior.3. "xisiciao Microsoft Surface Pro 8 Protective Case with Stand, 13 Inch Ultral Thin Lightweight Business Portfolio, Compatible with Keyboard Cover": At $27.99, it’s almost as expensive as the Omnpak, but not nearly as satisfying to hold or behold. It props up the SP8 in the same manner as the Omnpak, and the SP8 doesn’t slide about after installation. But the xisiciao's closure flap sadly has a weak magnetic hold. Still, this case is by far the thinnest and lightest of the three, which is important for holding as a tablet the uber-slippery SP8. This case is ultimately overpriced but meets my needs best. And so, xisiciao is kept while Dadanism and Omnpak get returned.

Great surface pro case
Greatly improves usability when sitting on your lap. Improves stability when upright. Tablet positioned upright at 90degree angle is perfectly stable using this case. It secures the device well, it does not move around. The side cutouts are perfect for the SurfacePro8, and the vents seem to allow plenty of air to circulate. It seems to protect the device well and has more padding than I expected.... still wouldnt want to drop it! It also looks very nice and sleek, matches the style and looks professional. Highly recommend.

Fantastic!
Very nice high quality feel to it. Holds my Surface Pro 8 well and it doesn't pop out. Using it as a stand works great as well. Doesn't add much bulk(I also have a keyboard attached). Use some painter's or masking tape to pick lint off it.

Adequate quality, good design
Received it today. You may see mixed opinion about the quality, however I would call it just adequate (neither great nor bad). They could have done better.Pros- Good design, especially the rubber beading that protects the sides (other covers that I saw did not have the rubber beading, the device may break if there is no side protection)- Precise cut for surface pro 8 2021/2022- Light weight- Eliminates the need for the rear stand as the case itself unfolds as a stand- Exposed rear - vents and dissipates heat- 'Surface pro' written on the case instead of an unreadable brand name :) One of my gloves had a brand name written on it called 'boildegg' :-D- IMO, magnetic closure flap in just fine. I do not like to wrestle with a strongly magnetic one :-)Cons (nothing major)- The rear shell is a bit flimsy and does not offer super stability (however it is stable enough). If they are going to conceal SP8's rear stand, I expect their 'stand' to be equally robust. Anyway, this could be the compromise for having a light weight case. Time will tell how long this will last. It could give the impression that it is not well-made.

Decent
Price wise it’s okay not the best, it’s fairly thick which makes it less likely to get damaged however, despite this, it easily holds the laptop, and is quite durable, but maybe it can be priced a little cheaper.

Poor build quality & over-priced
The build quality is mediocre, but that's maybe to be expected for a generic product like this. However, for that reason, it's way too expensive: I expect much better than this for £23
